 | So, one of my interests is essentially DIY stuff - mostly electrical and minor contraptions involving wood. Maybe not the most intense one, but has tangible outputs and high Wife Approval Factor (because it's practical and she can ask me to do stuff). Recently it's mostly cats stuff - the tower, scratching / climbing posts and that funny tunnel that was supposed to be another playing contraption but my cats figured it makes a great bedroom. At least the rope coiling does its job as another exquisite scratchy sratching place. This worktable is one of my first DIY contraptions - I've designed and built it myself because I found store - bought welded ones to be too expensive, plus I was afraid they couldn't be disassembled for transport. I did succeed at building it at half the cost (including tools, joinery etc. I had to buy because I didn't have them yet, and most are still there and used for stuff) it's still heavy AF. The base is approx. 100kg empty (according to my estimates based on the amount of wood and plywood used) and the tabletop is removable, 40mm plywood, several thick layers of durable parquet polyurethane lacquer, attached with 6 butterfly bolts (M6 if I'm not mistaken), and weighs about 60kg. The vise are just some cheap ones, as large as I could get for holding large elements in them. They could add another 10-15kg. The table is generally incredibly stable, and I think it's thanks to both its weight and construction (multiple supports, no protruding legs so the base has a large contact area with the floor etc). It's also soundproofed at the back, sides and between the base and tabletop with butylene foam so it doesn't rumble when I work on it. The tabletop has 3 ridges to prevent things from falling, 2 of which are removable. I also plan to add some extra sockets - the electrical box with emergency killswitch is already there but sitting idle as I didn't have energy recently to finish it. I know wood + electricity sounds scary, but I have fireproofed it and tested - won't catch fire. Plus anything metal in this box is grounded so should rather knock out the fuses than fry. Plus there are extra fuses internally in case of the unlikely overload. The entire thing is on a 16A circuit anyway. Bonus: cat contraptions I made from wood, plywood and jute for my two cats. I plan on doing more stuff for them, especially some jute pillows to rest on while they sleep on top of furniture and my desk. submitted by superdurszlak to autism [link] [comments] |

So I had completed Secrets of the Spires this morning and I do have some things to share about how I feel about it.
First off: I absolutely love the Spires, it’s a gorgeous region with so many opportunities to get amazing sky shots of the wild Ikran and your Sarentu with their mount, I even enjoyed seeing the new creature (which I have some personal beef with lol) since I love bats.
While the map is beautiful there are some things I think are lacking-
• Bigger threats
The map promotion poster seemed to depict the new animal as a much larger creature than it was initially thought to be, which I can understand marketing wise to lead people on but then again I was thinking this was going to be a western frontier version of Toruk, and I was disappointed that Toruk wasn’t seen in the DLC (which I understand this is a new part of Pandora but at the same time we don’t know how far a Toruks territory reaches)
• Dragged on Missions
Personally, the missions were a pain for me to complete and I usually complete missions fairly quickly, even on hard difficulty the missions weren’t as fun as they were thought to be, I have lost count of how many times I’ve even died when doing the convoy missions
• “New Clan”
Ubisoft promoted a new clan for our Sarentu to interact with, but seeing as it was simply just a second clan of Kame’tire? I felt a bit underwhelmed, while I was imagining a sort of cliff side clan where they primarily just used Ikran in their daily lives, we simply got Kame’tire who were fighting RDA (which good for them)
Personally I felt as though the promotion material for SotS was far fetched, it made it seem like we’d be introduced to a new clans way of life (while I suppose we did???) and even seeing new creatures only to get one.
So I have a question, if you were in charge of the Secrets of the Spires production, what would you add or change? Because I think there are other individuals who felt somewhat disappointed with the final results
(On another unrelated note, the new Ikran skins are gorgeous, have these photos I took of some wildlife and my Na’vi guy Laoki and his ikran Telisi)

i 17F have huge anxiety. ive convinced myself that i somehow got pregnant even tho ive never had intercourse, only through fingering by my ex boyf. It happened on the 12th of october. i got my period on the 26th kf october till the 30th and since then i was super bloated basically every day. And i was so so paranoid that i was pregnant. my period was late and i was super scared, bloated, nauseous. i got it on the 27th (3 days late) and its now the 29th and im feeling bloated again (still bleeding) i dont know whwre this is coming from, has anyone had anything similar happen? could it be because of stress??? And ive tried messing around with my diet, cutting out lactose or gluten and nothing changed i guess.
