Hi everyone, I’m currently 11 days past a 5-day embryo transfer (11dp5dt) and I’ve been getting positive pregnancy tests since Tuesday (3 days ago), which has been such a relief! However, I’ve also been experiencing brown spotting, which has me a little concerned.
The spotting is light in color and intermittent, but I typically get brown spotting about a week before my period, and it’s usually darker and heavier than what I’m experiencing now. So, I’m a bit worried because I tend to associate brown spotting with my period starting.
I’m on progesterone (rectally).
I would love to hear if anyone has had brown spotting around this time in their pregnancy or IVF journey and how long it lasted. When did the spotting stop for you? Should I be worried, or is this just a normal part of early pregnancy?

Thought it would be good for everyone to share to give others ideas of what to look out for.
Here's my list as a SB:
- Asks for money to "make sure you're real." If they do this, run. No real SD in my experience will do this.
3.- Immediately sexting once we move off SA or start asking questions like "so what are you like in bed?" Just block them honestly. The chances of them being Johns are high and it's gross imo cuz I barely know them.
4.- They take a long time to arrange a M&G. And/or they keep stalling it.
5.- Intro messages that are clearly copy/pasted generic message. Feels like they're just fishing to see what bites.
6.- All talk and no planning. Talks about going on dinner dates, vacations, etc. but never discusses planning for them.
7.- Doesn't have pics on profile (not even blurred pics) for privacy reasons. Some people don't mind it, I personally do.
