So much is going wrong while I feel like I'm trying so so so hard do to the right thing and I feel like I will never get it right or fit in anywhere. For the first time in a long time I feel truly hopeless and I have moments where I don't believe things will ever change or get better, they'll probably get worse. I want to share and write and scream so many things but I'm just frozen and trying to contain myself and my fear and my aggression in/toward myself. I feel very very lost and I'm so sorry to everyone. English is not my first language, I'm probably not wording this right, but I feel like I just don't really fit anywhere and I hate myself for continuously hoping and trying and hurting myself again and again in the process I just don't know what to do

What are some things that make you happy in life both material and non-material?
Material Items:
- Blacked out big body Range Rover
- 1 or 2 good black cold brews in the morning from a coffee shop
- Luxury Candles that fill up the room
- Plain, non-conspicuous clothes that are high quality
- Cold water with salt based electrolytes (material? idk. But still "a thing)
- High quality Cotton Towel
- Luxury watches that I can trade in-and-out and enjoy a new piece here and there
Non-Material:
- Introducing friends to new things that they become obsessed with like I am (Food, things, music, etc)
- Taking your friends/family on trips/events/dinners
- Sitting outdoor at a restaurant in a big city (specifically NYC) in the summer with friends
- A good walk/run alone with music or a podcast
- Most importantly, no stress about money
- A new song/album drops
Idk, thought I'd see what you guys say

I ordered from BC to a small town in Ontario and I paid for the express service and I was literally on hold with purolator for hours yesterday because I didn’t understand what was going on with the tracking, apparently they were so busy that they scanned my order in but it didn’t make it on time to the airport until 6pm est last night I was really worried that I would not get my time sensitive package in time. I got the “label electronically submitted by purolator” and I actually have a funny story, I was on hold 3 different times. The first time I waited and waited and as soon as I decided I had waited enough, I heard “thank you for ca….” And I hung up on them, the second time I chose them to call me back and I thought I had enough time to make a quick call and they called me back and left a message, third time I was on hold for over an hour and I was playing games and surfing the internet and when they called I accidentally hung up on them by hitting the wrong button. But I did get my package this morning, just one day late.

For context, I was laid off from my role at company A because the team I worked with wanted to transfer to a new company B. The team wanted me to join them and assist in the transfer. Following the transfer things took an unexpected turn and I was forced out in a very demoralizing/hostile way, I ended up quitting due to the unfair conditions. I broke the cardinal rule of quitting before finding other employment. Now it’s almost 7 months later and i’ve applied to hundreds and hundreds of roles, and I cannot find a thing.
Am I able to collect unemployment considering the layoff from company A?

2024.11.29 19:40 Speedbird787-9 Connecting an IP Phone - WiFi Router in Bridge Mode vs. Signal Extender with Ethernet Port
For my WFH setup, I need to connect a Mitel IP phone. The phone requires PoE, but I have an adapter for that need.
Bigger concern is wiring the phone from the office to the existing switch. It’s possible, but would be a significant amount of labor to run the cable. Not afraid of the project, but it’s sort of a “plan B”.
I had considered, instead, using a second router in wireless bridge mode in the office, pointing at the primary network SSID. Plug the IP phone into that, and I should be good to go, right?
How does that compare with a WiFi signal extender that has a single Ethernet port on it for connecting wired devices? Is this six of one/half dozen of another?
I don’t plan on really connecting any other wired or wireless devices to the “secondary” networking device (bridged WiFi router or extender). It is just the IP phone.
Any thoughts would be helpful. Thank you!

My kids convinced me to get a 12 week old bichon poodle mix. 6 months later I am seriously questioning this decision.
We have a house of 6 with a cat plus exposure to extended family. We took the dog to dog friendly locations. We do our best to give the dog over an hour of outdoor play and running with human interaction every day. We have successfully completed an 8 week training class with other adolescent dogs in addition to hours of training we provided over the summer.
At 9 months and many, many hours of training and attention, I worry that this dog is not the dog for us. I am seriously considering returning her to the breeder for lack of initial socialization.
This dog is still not fully potty trained (has almost daily accidents in the house). She barks often at other dogs and humans. She lunges at small children and house guests. She nips at them aggressively and I worry she will bite.
I am concerned that we have gotten into a situation where we cannot care for this dog. I am worried that she will bite someone and we will be forced to put her down. I do not know what we did wrong.
