Not saying I don’t take any teachings, but this is beyond annoying.
I’m the new hire, and I try to follow the instructions my direct supervisor gives me. However, one of my colleagues always corrects me, saying I’m doing things wrong. When I tell him that my supervisor taught me this way, he just dismisses it and says he doesn’t think that’s true. On the other hand, when I do things the way he wants me to, my supervisor would says it’s wrong. This back and forth has happened so many times that my supervisor and manager now think I can’t even perform basic tasks and that I’m always making mistakes. I’m really worried that Im gonna get laid off next year. But hey if that happens I guess it kind of explains why this place is always short staffed lol

Towards the end of season 8 , things seemed to be sorting out. Red finally telling Liz all the secrets, Liz accepting them , it almost seemed like a happy ending until Red asked her to kill him in exchange for the final true. Tho i was happy that Red didnt die in the end but I was also sad that Liz did and they couldn’t coexist as Mother-Daughter. Would have been a nice arc.

So I just got these snake bites done on Tuesday (Nov 26). One looks normal but the other one is like that? Plus the right side (the side I’m concerned about) is always more swollen, and seems to be leaking like yellowish discharge? Is it normal or am I just over thinking it? I clean them both twice a day with mouth wash for inside and saline solution for the outside. I clean them three times if I remember to (work has me busy).

Having a really hard time finding an insurance company to cover us being on the roof here in California. Started out with window cleaning and I’ve since moved into gutter cleaning, solar cleaning, and power washing/ soft washing. Once we started offering roof washing I checked with my insurance company and it turns out that we’re not covered to be on anyone’s roof for any of our services. I’ve asked around and so far the only quote I’ve been able to get is for 8k per year with general liability $1m in coverage. I’ve done a ton of research and called around to quite a few places. Seems that most don’t even know or understand what roof washing is. I’d really appreciate it if someone can help point me in the right direction. I’m transitioning form a sole proprietorship to an llc s-corp at the start of next year with plans of hiring a technician to help me out.

2024.11.29 19:51 Hazzawoof Any tips for calming pre-Marathon nerves?

I'm Marathon day minus 1 and feeling those anxious nerves deep in my chest and a noticeably higher heart rate. I know a lot of this is normal, but it showed up in some pretty ridiculous heart rate data when I ran my first half marathon (pic attached).
I hit my highest ever recorded heart rate will jogging at the start. Fortunately I had the piece of mind to decide to ignore my HR data and just run by feel. My HR definitely calmed down but I can't help but feel it harmed my performance.
Any top tips for managing the nerves the day before and morning of?
