Just wanted to share a progress update for those who saw my previous posts about the quit-smoking app I'm developing. The daily breakdown of my smoking patterns and timely notifications have been eye-opening - they really helped me identify when and why I smoke the most. Using these insights, I've managed to cut down from 40 to under 20 cigarettes a day!
My goal is to be completely smoke-free by mid-December. At the current rate of reduction, it feels achievable for the first time.
For those who missed my earlier posts, the app supports both cold turkey and gradual reduction strategies. Still doing some final polishing on the UI and fixing a few minor bugs before release.
Really excited to share this with the community soon. The tracking feature has made such a difference in understanding my habits.

2024.11.29 19:23 PatrickGSR94 Cryofuze paste included with CPU cooler won't spread?
I was about to get into building a couple of workstations for my office today, but discovered that the Cryofuze paste included with the Hyper 212 Black CPU coolers won't spread at all. CM videos show applying the paste in an X pattern, and then spreading it, like buttering toast. Although several video comments said that was way too much. I couldn't get it to spread at all and wasted all the product in the tube. Now I'm stuck either having to order something else and delaying my builds, or going and buying whatever Best Buy has in stock (Corsair stuff I think).

Look, I know this is a pathetic post to be making, but I genuinely can’t find anyone. I’ve tried Tinder, Hinge, Archer, Grindr, hell even Sniffies. I know Sniffies and Grindr are hookup apps, it wasn’t my goal to find a relationship on there. But it’s the principle that I can’t find a person. Am I looking on the wrong apps, in the wrong places? Do I need to go out more?
I’m not worried about a relationship right now, it’s just the fact that I see my friends and family in relationships and I’m low key jealous. I want to experience it.
If there’s any other apps I could look into, please let me know.

I (23M) was scrolling through Twitter and surprisingly came across a picture of a girl I used to hook up with holding her 1 year old baby, I scrolled through her page and found a post where she announced she was 10 weeks pregnant to the date. I did some math and her conception window lined up to the weekend her and I were sleeping together. Her and I made a sex tape that week and it still has the date recorded shown (we never used protection).
Her and I were hooking up sporadically for over a year, and I learned from scrolling through her page that she had a boyfriend that she was dating months prior to getting pregnant. I never knew she was in a relationship at any point.
So that means it’s a complete possibility that the kid in the photo may be mine. I did some digging and found the dad’s page and the baby does kinda look like him, they share the same nose. I know that genetics are weird so that doesn’t prove anything, but still.
Here’s the thing, I never wanted to be a father. I know that sounds dumb after hearing that I was having a lot of unprotected sex but that’s still how I feel. Every woman I’ve slept with knows I never wanted to be a father and I’ve always had the conversation that if they got pregnant I would 100% push for an abortion because I truly do not wish to ever be a parent and they all had zero issues with that. Im currently saving up for a vasectomy as well.
Im selfish, impatient, smoke a lot of weed, posses other traits that make me unfit to raise a child but overall, its just not the lifestyle I’ve ever envisioned for myself.
She’s sent me a few flirty messages over the past year, but I’m currently in a relationship so I’ve shut that down. I don’t know if I should reach out to the “dad” and potentially ruin a “happy” household. If the kid is his, then I just wrecked a family by falsely interjecting, but I’m also too scared of the possibility that the kid is mine as I don’t want to raise her.
