My father is in hospice, and his nurse said he is imminent. He sleeps most of the day, has glassy eyes, doesn't want anything to drink or in his feeding tube. He seems to have some moments of lucidity. Very recently, the tumor in his neck ruptured and broke skin. He's bleeding from his nose, and there's thin bloody liquid coming from his mouth. His skin is dry and flaky. I showed him some pictures of my kids and he didn't really react.
God help me, I am praying for him to die this weekend. He's miserable. He's in pain. My mother and brother are miserable and in pain. I just want him to not suffer anymore.

2024.11.29 19:23 averagemp4 Controller Issue in Sonic GT
I recently downloaded Sonic GT, and when I booted it up, my controller didn't work. Then, I connected it through a USB cable, which got it to work, but the controls were all mixed up. (Example: The start button was the right trigger)
I don't have any clue what's causing this. I tried a custom controller input through steam, but that hardly did anything. I'm using a DualSense, which steam told me that GT didn't support it, but its working either way (again, with mixed controls.)
If you experienced anything similar and were able to fix it please let me know how. Thanks!

2024.11.29 19:23 sunspot01 LAN support for PS4 Borderlands 1, 2, prequel and 3?
I'm trying to get a clear answer on what's possible and google/reddit searching is proving inconclusive. I have a PS4 with all the Borderlands games except Tiny Tina Wonderland.
Borderlands 1 GOTY and 3 do not seem to have a LAN option, only local play with a disabled wifi icon.
The handsome jack collection with The PreSequel and Borderlands 2 clearly has a LAN option in addition to local play.
I don't have another PS4 or PS5 yet, but before I sink the money into consoles and game copies, I wanted to know if the PS4 versions of 1 and 3 have LAN. And also if they any of these have LAN crossplay.
I had all the Borderlands on xbox360 back in the day and they had LAN.

Now I do know that brushing is good bonding time, so we do have a regular brush. However I don’t think she likes it very much because she always tries to swat the handle. I’m looking for a “fan favorite” kind of tool that’s sturdy and has good longevity. I’m willing to try different kinds, but I’m truly getting overwhelmed and slightly intimidated by all of my options.
