I moved out of my parents home but a year ago my lease for this apartment is for 2 years and the the second year is starting. I struggled so much this past year and it has caused not just a financial strain but my mental health has deteriorated. I have a room mate ( my little sister) but she lost her job 6 months into the move and all the responsibilities have fallen on my lap she’s trying to find a job but to me a very burnt out human being any form of “looking for a job” just seems not enough. I feel like I am drowning. I’ve talked to my parents and they suggested to break our lease and move back home ( from IL to TX) I’m just worried this will have a bad effect on my future as far as credit is concerned. But me staying here means we are barely getting by ( w/out groceries at that) there are days where we literally are worried about what we are gonna eat cause we have nothing left after all the bills are paid. Parents can’t help they are in their own financial struggle this was suppose to be a move to help us break that codependency with our parents and get out of a VERY toxic environment. But shit I will take being locked in my own room for days on end if I don’t have to worry about if a bill is going to get paid of not and seeing my baby sister not have food. So if I break my lease will it hurt my credit really bad to ruin my future?

I'm a tall (like, the tallest in 95% of rooms) French (sorry) nerd (not sorry) who enjoys meeting various kind, empathetic and interesting strangers who can passionately talk about what they love. My perception of ENM has sensibilities aligned with relationship anarchy. The "I believe in defining ourselves the modalities of our relationship" kind of RA, not the "emotionally unavailable and narcissistic" kind.
Also the kind of RA that values platonic friendships! And allows for the possibility of monogamy.
Kinky, but for Berlin, not at very high intensity haha! I tend to be a more downtempo D type. Group fun is a delight in any configuration, but I find that the right chemistry is rarer than with one on one. And always up for something new! Eternally curious about other people and what they enjoy.

He instead put his dirty clothes straight in the Shared washing machine. He also changes clothes like 3 times a day so there's always clothes in there. I don't know if they're clean or dirty or what and I always have to move a bunch of his gross smelly clothes if I ever want to do laundry. I couldn't sleep last night and tried to put some washing on to help pass the time and lo and behond the machine is full when he did a load not 2 days ago. Again, don't know if it's clean or what. Just so annoying because I pay for use of it yet rarely get to use it because his clothes are always in there. This is on top of lots of other things, like being in the one common area from the second he wakes up to the second he goes to sleep (it's at the front of the house and is the loungeroom and kitchen, so I can't even leave the house without him wanting to chat when we have 0 in common. I can't take my dogs out to shit, I can't feed my dogs, I can't eat food without him making comments or asking me things). Leaving the front door wide open for 0 reason leading to my dogs getting out 5 times in the last month, all sorts of shit.
I'm just really frustrated honestly and needed to vent. Why do people look for housemates to pay their bills and then act like they're the only ones in the house it pisses me off. Like am I your cash cow or something?
