2024.11.29 19:30 Turbulent-Candy3691 CPU upgrading question

This is maybe a really dumb question but I just want to be sure ik doing it right. So I'm upgradingy CPU from a ryzen 5 2600x to a ryzen 7 5700x3D and I need to upgrade my bios to support it but the bios update say "not recommended if using a pinnacle ridge CPU" which the 2600x is. So my question is, does it really matter if I install the CPU and update the bios at the same time? Do I have to update first and then put it in? I'm not really sure what I should do Thanks in advance Adding: idk if this helps at all but I'm using an ASRock b450m steel legend motherboard

Hi everyone!
About a month ago I posted in this subreddit that I was seeing a guy I liked and it was objectively the worst sex I’ve had in my life.
It was really really bad and it kinda gave me the ick on the whole relationship. Just.. truly imagine someone lying on top of you and not moving, I couldn’t get him to move his hips, he would just kinda shake to the side, shake the headboard, all while just lying inside of me. It was pretty fucked up. But everyone was right, he was a virgin and lied to me about it.
We talked it out, however, and I told him that he really needed to do some research on his own time. That I would guide him in bed, we introduced some sex toys as well, and really talked about what we liked. I’m happy to say it’s a lot better! He has improved greatly, there are still some areas that can be improved but overall it’s just a lot better. He asks what I like, we debrief after to get better for next time, and I honestly finish! It’s an amazing improvement. Thank you to everyone who told me to stick it through, but also to those who told me to leave too I think it’s fair! Life is too short to waste it on really bad sex. But if you like them and more importantly they are really willing to work on it with you, then I’d stay.

When I was 13 I listened to a past life regression vid on YouTube, I can link it if you’d like, and it was just for fun. Im unsure if this was just my subconscious or what but it was more realistic than any dream I’ve ever experienced.
In this video I watched there is a point where he says you fall and when he did I actually fell. And it was like when your falling as you fall asleep and you jump out of it. It was very unsettling. But even more so when I was suddenly on the back of a small wooden wagon. I wasn’t in my living room anymore. I was completely there, and I still remember it like a memory, not like something that was just in my head.
I was uncomfortable, there was hay scattered all around me, and I believe bales behind me but I didn’t turn around. So I’m unsure who was at the front of the wagon or what animal was leading it. It smelled awful. Like rot and sewage. I never realized how bad that sleeps until then. It hit my nose like a truck. I was wearing a white dress(?) but it was thickish and slightly off white, and it wasn’t too dirty but it was NOT flattering lol. It reminded me more of a glorified potato sack.
I looked at my hands, they and my arms were somewhat dirty and pale. But I didn’t care about that, bc I was to focused on the chains. They were connected to the wagon(I believe) and my wrists. They were huge and thick and reddish. And very unpleasant. They were loud and made a lot of noice clanking together as the wagon moved. The wagon was going down a small cobblestone(that’s what it looked like) road between a bunch of buildings all side by side. There were all kinds of people out. Some had little stands that were almost connected to the buildings.(idk it’s hard to explain) and they were selling things, I saw a couple big pigs(they were making a lot of noise). Some people paid me no mind while some(especially the children) stared at me. I was older than I was at the time but I don’t think I was older than 15(?).
It was loud and bustling but I couldn’t focus on any of it. Bc I felt this fear grip me that was the most despairing helplessness I’ve ever experienced. And it wasn’t just hopelessness it was the gut wrenching additional feeling of acceptance. Like that girl KNEW she was about to die but she couldn’t do anything about it. It was the most awful feeling. I came out of it so quickly I nearly fell out if my chair. It came with that falling feeling but this time back to my living room.
It’s scares me but also interests me. I wasn’t big into historical shows or European history so I didn’t know what any of it meant. But I just knew that girl was about to die. Upon research it seems like she was going to be executed. I just wish I had turned around. Seen what was ahead. I might have gotten a better clue. There weren’t any words in the buildings that I saw. I just wish there was a way I could fact check. To know if it’s my subconscious or not.

I've been watching Dandadan for a while now and have read a good number of chapters. However, there's one aspect of the manga that has always felt poorly written to me, and I'd like explain it in detail.
Some of the themes Dandadan attempts to explore, particularly those related to bodily autonomy, trauma, and consent in all seriousness is heavily undermined by the treatment of it's male sexual assault.
One of Dandadan's recurring themes is how violation—whether physical, emotional, or psychological—is deeply unsettling & damaging. This theme is evident in the harrowing and eerie portrayal of female characters’ experiences with harassment or assault. However, by treating male sexual assault (like Okarun's experiences) as comedic, the series inadvertently sends mixed messages.
For Female Characters: Assault is terrifying and dehumanizing, as seen in unsettling encounters involving Momo or Aira.
For Male Characters: Assault is trivialized, turned into slapstick humor, and stripped off any sort of emotional weight.
This inconsistency diminishes the universality of the theme, suggesting that violations of autonomy are only serious when they happen to women, thereby undermining its exploration of consent and trauma.
Along this, it also reinforces many harmful stereotypes.
The another major problem I have with it is how repeatedly presenting male assault as humorous may completely desensitize viewers to the gravity of the issue.
If Dandadan treated it's male assault with the same gravity as female assault, it could expand and deepen its thematic exploration so much more honestly but it was just an another generic explorations of those themes again by sidelining male experiences as comedy.
I can already see someone arguing that most manga don’t even try to address these themes, and that’s true. However, my issue with Dandadan isn’t that other stories avoid these topics—it’s how Dandadan fumbles them by sending mixed messages.
Every author has a different message they want to convey to their audience, and I have no problem with creators who choose not to tackle these themes at all. But if a story does decide to explore such sensitive topics, it needs to commit fully. Half-hearted attempts not only fail to do justice to the subject matter but also risk undermining the story as a whole.
