ROOF-V has been developing its patented process for 10 years.
Process proven with Pilot plant in BC for recycling used asphalt shingles back to its basic components.
No other asphalt shingles recycling commercial process other than marginal RAS ie grinded shingles mixed in for roads.
1st commercial plant under construction for delivery early 2025 and commissioning before Q2 2025.
April 2023 FEED study forecast 5.3M$ EBITDA per plant. Cost of a plant is 15M$ CAPEX + 5M$ associated costs.
5.3M$ EBITDA is for shift. You can run a plant at 2 shifts per day for 2X the EBITDA.
There is 16.5M tons of used roof asphalt shingles discarded in landfills in North-America. This would require 200+ plants x 10M$ EBITDA.
2/3rd of profitability is 100% margin discounted tipping fees received for taking custody of used shingles instead of the landfill.
1/3rd of profitability is 95% from selling output liquid asphalt to paving, roofing or shingles manufacturers companies.
Lots of derisking with agreements with major counterparties for input (ECCO, IKO, TAMKO), output (TAMKO, McAsphalt) and financing (10M$ participation from strategic TAMKO, BDC, ERA grant, CVW royalties).
Fully financed to end of 2025 and probably not much dilution needed even after that.
WHY NOW? Because once Calgary plant is commissioned (next 6-7 months) and FEED study numbers confirmed, it's Copy & Paste plants wherever you have an urban area of 1M+ people. 10% market chare of 200 plants is 20 plants X 10M$ EBITDA = 200M$ while current market cap is 43.9M$ (62.3M$ fd).

2024.11.29 19:51 dablocishot Maxed Unique Ability on Unique Weapons do NOT carry over to Duplicate Unique Weapons.
Currently I have all but 2 Unique weapons with all Maxed Unique Abilities on each weapon. The grind was real. I've been Catalyzing multiple Unique Weapons lately to test them out. My lastest one being the Albion Cavalry Gun. I had a plan to have 4 ACG's with each on having a specific elemental stats (weapon readjustment.) So far I have built 5 Albions and merged them together to Max the Unique Ability. The Elemental Damage I have in this one being Fire Atk. Done with this one. All maxed mods, Fully Catalyzed, Good to go.
I figured I would now build a 6th on and put a different Elemental Stat (Weapon readjustment) on it. Seemed pretty simple until I noticed the my new Albion Cavalry gun has an unmaxed Unique Ability. The mods carry over, the catalysts carry over, the Energy Activator carries over, but not the Unique Ability Level. This means that if I want 4 Fully Maxed Albions or any other Unique Weapon with each one having 1/4 Elementals, I would need to build the same gun 20 times just to have a max Unique ability on each. I think this is a huge flaw in the games design.
It is convenient that for each duplicate weapon you build the mods and catalyst carry over, thats cool, fine. To have to remax the unique on each new copy is just insanity tho. I keep trying to find ways to keep enjoying the game but its inconveniences like this that just make me want to close the app. Planning out what I am going to do to keep enjoying the game with its lack of content just to get railroaded like this sucks.

2024.11.29 19:51 MellowGuru I can't connect with what guided meditation suggest me to do
I get really taken out of guided meditations when they often mention things like:
"Feel this light in your chest pulsing out" "Feel you graditude" "Remind yourself you are enough"
And similar things.
I struggle with depression and I really don't feel these things or could imagine how they would feel like. It really takes me out of it.
Any advice on how to deal with this?

I started occasionally feeling like my right leg was going to buckle when walking a couple of years ago, which then turned to the same leg feeling constantly heavy, tired and achy. At the start of this year I started experiencing fasciculations just in this leg, which then spread to the whole body and have continued ever since, with no clear pattern. Went for a brain MRI which came back clear and was referred to a neurologist who said he couldn't see any fasciculations when he shone a torch over my legs, so didn't believe this was what I was experiencing, and that I do not show signs of clinical weakness.
Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms ?

hi, i’m trying to identify a game that came with my N64 console circa 1998 (UK). it was a role player featuring a tall thin female (?) character in largely green landscapes. there was a boss level i repeatedly failed fighting a large wasp like creature on platforms. i recall the electronic violin soundtrack distinctly. memory triggered by my husband today playing ‘astro bot’ on his PS5, the az-tech trail level music is similar to it. i have looked through a complete list of N64 games and couldn’t identify the title. any help appreciated!

I’m a part time school speech pathologist in the United States (Colorado) at a small charter school. We are allotted 12 weeks of maternity leave through the state. I went on my leave September-November (due to return back this coming school week). My boss, the director of special education, (whose wildly aloof, unprepared, unorganized, poor fit for her position, had zero background in anything relative) just called me to say that she didn’t find me a speech substitute and I’ll have to make up all the missed minutes when I return, and hold all the IEP meetings that were missed.
I only have 2 days of childcare set up for my baby but besides that this seems like an unreasonable request to ask me to make up my own maternity leave minutes. My boss didn’t even start looking for coverage until the week I went on leave and had no idea about how to figure out how many hours she needed to cover per week, and obviously she had 9 months to prepare for my leave.
Any insight from other school SLPs to how I should handle this? Thanks!

Dog gagging when drinking water
My 5 year old 85 lb lab has been gagging when drinking water the past couple of days. He hasn’t been drinking it faster than usual and doesn’t do it when he’s eating. Occasionally he’ll gag on a piece of food though. Two nights ago he asked to go to the bathroom 4 times before bed. This is unusual because we take him one time and he’s always fine until the morning. He peed each time he went out and pooped once but spent most of the time eating grass. Eating grass isn’t unusual for him but to go out specifically to eat grass is. He also wasn’t getting comfortable in bed but eventually was fine and fell asleep. The next day, yesterday, he was fine. Everything was normal but he did gag at least once when drinking water. This morning he woke up and threw up. It was all grass, no food. We went for our walk a couple of hours later and he ate normally then when he went to drink water he gagged twice and spit up probably a teaspoon of foam or spit. Drank some more water and was fine then was doing it later on. Is this something to be concerned about? Could a piece of grass have lodged in there and could it eventually come out?
