Myself and 3 other guys have by living together for 3 years in the apartment -- everyone's moving out in January, but I happened to find a new place starting in December.
The other 3 roommates; Nick, Jake, and Etienne are all artsy professionals (Etienne is a graphic designer and Nick and Jake work in film). They are respectful, nice guys who would be happy to have you in the space while they are figuring out their own living situations for next year. Jake has a cat named Bella, who I'm going to miss and likes to cuddle! Roommates are LGBTQ+ friendly -- and are genuinely good guys who are easy to get along with.
The neighborhood is great. The subway is around the corner (Bedford Nostrand stop on the G). There is also a grocery store around the corner; with other options nearby. Home Depot is 2 blocks away. And there are some cool bars nearby (we're next to Singers which is fun to hang out in).
Our landlords are looking for new tenants in 2025 -- so there may be an opportunity for a long term lease; depending on what they want to do.

There is one cartoon that left a mark on my psyche and memory. I had a DVD with cartoons from the “Gora Samotsvetov” studio on one side, and a collection of strange cartoons on the other. One of them I remember well, including the music and approximate animation style. I still dream of finding it and watching it again. It was very strange. It started with a pink elephant, and then the camera zoomed in on its small, bristly head. The shot got closer and eventually showed a louse/bug biting its scalp. The elephant starts scratching, and with each new bite, it becomes more intense, and it hits itself on the head. As the lice multiply with each bite, the elephant changes color from pink to blue, then purple, and finally green, and you can see that it is in distress. The animation style was odd, flat, with vibrant colors, but not 3D or deep. This cartoon reminded me in style of “FRU-79.” I’m really hoping to find this cartoon because I’m very curious about it.

Hi all.. long post incoming.. I'm on the fence about upgrading my CPU. Mainly play Cities Skylines 1, would really love to play CS2 but cant as I get 15 FPS on 1440P on current config... LOL :) CS2 small city (at the start) has my CPU utilization 40 - 100% and GPU almost always 100%. Temps are ok, between 50 - 70 C for CPU with AIO and 80+ C for GPU. Have 4K monitor but I tried at 1440P. I don’t play a lot as work is super busy. I'd say about 10 hours a week., so casual gamer. I'd like to get decent FPS.. is 60+ even possible for me?
Just bought Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, today. Thinking of upgrading CPU as well. Currently on AMD AM4 Ryzen 3600 platform. My options are:
(a) Stay with current
(b) Buy Ryzen 5700X3D
(c) Upgrade to AM5 Ryzen 7600X CPU + Mobo & RAM along with it.
I don’t have a lot of budget remaining, I can stretch a little if AM5 is well worth it over AM4 options. I'd like to get a few more years out of my current hardware if I can thats why I'm leaning towards (a) or (b). I don’t want to spend $200 on 5700X3D only to realize that I'm not getting good performance.
Here is my current config -
CPU - Ryzen 3600
RAM - 4x16 (64 GB) DDR4 1600
GPU - AMD Radeon RX 5700 (today I just bought Nvidia RTX 4070 Super)
PSU - Corsair 850W 80+ Gold

The Anything Ooze was designed to take any reasonable shape asked of it. Requests are made telepathically, via touch. Chairs, tables, simple tools are all reasonable requests. The gnome designer has not worked out all of the problems - The Anything Ooze frequently goes haywire when it doesn't comprehend a request and starts attacking randomly. It's form is acidic when not hardened into a shape and it will also attempt to suffocate attackers. Instinct: Attack, multiply
- Acid touch
- Tries to suffocate them
- Splits into multiple monsters if slashed or cleaved
- Suck them into its body

Does anybody have a hard time saying “I love you” to those you love? This has always been really difficult for me.
I definitely FEEL love just fine (I recently fell hard in love with someone) but actually saying it has for some reason been not as easy.
If someone says it to me first, I can easily say it back.. Maybe it’s because then I feel less vulnerable.
My mom & I rarely say “I love you” to each other. I will always wait for her to say it first during our occasional phone calls, but that doesn’t happen very often.
I do love my mom, though we’ve had a very difficult relationship.
My mom has shown her love in non-verbal ways, like gift giving. Actually that’s how most of my family has expressed love - by helping you or doing things for you.
The only person in my family who actually ever said “I love you” often to us was my Auntie. She passed away 6 years ago.
Maybe it’s because I’m Autistic? Maybe there is something wrong with me? I don’t know anymore..
I actually have no problem saying “I love you” to pets or animals. Maybe because a beloved pet or animal won’t judge you..
