As mentioned on this sub, I went to a shop, deflated till 28 and inflated the tire back up to 32-33. Still, the warning hasn't gone away. Am I missing out on something? TPM issue? I tend to have an identity crisis sometimes. It's not so much that I don't know who I am, but that I overthink too much and question exactly what makes me, me. I think that's why I'm so obsessed with typology too. I keep worrying that I'm mistyped. When I typed myself as a sp6, I was like "alright, this is how self-preservation sixes behave, I guess I'm kinda like that" and then I tried finding characters who were sixes that I related to, to I guess validate that I was that type? I reread the descriptions multiple times and tried aligning myself with that because it made me feel better having a label. When I realized I wasn't actually a 6, I felt that I needed to go on this hunt of finding what type I was even when it really shouldn't be a big deal in the first place.
And I guess I do this because I myself feel a bit shallow and I want to understand myself deeper. When I try to describe myself, it's very vague. I say generic things like "I'm very kind, creative, and I love hugs." but..is that it? Is that all I am? surely there must be more and I'm just not looking deep enough. It's hard to describe myself because a lot of the times I tie my personality to..well, other people. A lot of my motivations are centered around making others feel comfortable, not what actually makes me comfortable. I say that making others happy makes me happy, but surely that's not always the case. It's almost always about other people. How I want to make others happy or how I give hugs to people because they might need one. It's never about what I want.
Hell, even when I ask people for hugs, I always say "would YOU like a hug?" It's never "Can I have a hug?" It's hard for me to ask for things because I'm used to just looking out for other people. If you look at my moodboards, literally all of them are quotes meant to comfort or uplift OTHER people. I remember when I was making one and one of the quotes said something like "I'm going to be okay. Healing takes time, and I have time to heal" and I purposefully changed the "I"s to "You"s why tf am I like this? 🥲 I think that's why I also like receiving compliments because I want to know what people think of me so I understand myself better. And they can't just say "oh, you're very smart" no, EXPLAIN why I'm smart because I can't see that in myself 😭

So I've been reading books in this series in both English and French as French practice and there are some pretty weird differences between some of the books. I'm reading Erak's Ransom right now (la rançon) and in chapter 12 there are 4 out of 10 pages total in the French book dedicated to Will messing with Horace about storms while in the American version there's only about half a page out of a total of 5 for that. Also, Halt throws up over the side of the boat after Svengal's talk of a large breakfast in the American version while in the French version he asks for Svengal's hat, almost gets it, and never throws up.
In previous books, in addition to similar changes in interactions, chapters have been rearranged or left out in the French book.
Does anyone know if edits were made at one point to the series or is this because it was translated? They don't feel like the kind of differences you get due to translation.

She dumped me 5 months ago after 5 years together. It was my fault (long story short: I have been too depressed for a long time, not moving forward with my life, and she got tired of waiting for me). I've had an awful time these last few months, realizing just how much I screwed up by letting our relationship fall apart and how empty my life is without her. We've stayed in contact since then over text, mostly with superficial chats, but I have embarrassed myself a few times by breaking down and telling her how much I've been hurting and how much I miss her. I know she has moved on to the point of sleeping with other people, which absolutely kills me.
I have been dreading Thanksgiving/Christmas because it's the first holiday season since 2018 that I won't be spending with her and her family (I love her family too). The day before Thanksgiving, she calls me out of the blue, crying. She was supposed to fly out to see her family, but she had such a bad panic attack at the airport that she didn't get on the plane and she asked me if I'd come get her and take her home. Of course I jumped in the car, picked her up, took her home, stayed with her for a while until she calmed down, and I went home.
I didn't hesitate to help her, and I don't regret helping her, but of course this ended up messing with my head. It was only the 2nd time I've seen her in person since the breakup. On the one hand, it's nice to know I am still the person she reached out to for help and I like comforting her and being able to show her that I care. On the other hand, I can't help but have a lot of bitter thoughts, thinking to myself "why didn't she call whatever guy she has been seeing?" and thinking how much it sucks to be her emergency call in a crisis but I'm not the person she comes to anymore when she's lonely or horny or just wants to hang out with someone. I sat there on her couch with her, silently torturing myself with visions of her and some unknown man being intimate in that same location.
A small part of me wants to hope that after this experience, she's maybe going to reconsider some things and think it was meaningful that she wanted me to be with her in her time of need. Realistically, now that the ordeal is over, she will probably go back to just texting superficially with me and when she wants male company, she'll go back to seeing whoever it is that she has been seeing lately, moving on from me more and more, and I will not see her again for the forseeable future. I was not remotely close to getting over her before this happened, but this isn't going to help at all.
