This is a little gentle parenting adjacent, but since we’re all invested in instilling kindness in our kids, I thought you might have some advice.
My elementary aged daughter had a friend over today and I heard them chatting. The friend was saying that she liked “roasting” boys until they cried, which sounded like happened at school this week (my daughter said “why did you make Boy cry?” and the girl said “I like to make boys cry.”) I was on my way through the room and said “that sounds very unkind.” A few minutes later I head this friend ask my daughter if she’d like some roasting tips. When my daughter said “sure,” I stepped in and told then that this was very unkind and that they’re not allowed to talk like this in our house.
I’d been planning to sit with my daughter and have a chat later, but this friend basically needled my daughter until she cried, then decided to go home. My daughter is extremely sensitive and it didn’t sound like this needling was intentionally hurtful, just inconsiderate. In light of the previous conversation, my hackles are up, though.
What would you do about this kid? I don’t have her parents’ phone numbers, or I’d send a text. I’m less worried about how she treated my daughter and more worried about what sounds like actual bullying of this boy at school. I know where they live, and I could probably find out her teacher’s name and email her. Should I step in somehow here?

Hello, maybe you can help me with this one:
Just got notification from AA that our inbound flight into the US (arriving in CLT) will be delayed. Notification came more than 12hrs in advance. Connection time will shrink to around 40 minutes as of now. I'm curious what will happen in the following scenario:
We pass immigration, recheck our luggage, hurry to the gate, but arrive to late for boarding. Our connecting flight is the last one to our final destination for that day.
I suppose we will be rebooked to a flight the following day, but what about our luggage in this situation? Do we have access to them? Where do we grab them?

Tenho 500 reais e tava querendo usar Pc pra jogos, programação, modelagem 3d casuais edição de vídeo e imagem casuais tb. Eu sei que não vou jogar nenhum GTA 6 nele, mas quero jogar o máximo que der de games e não precisa ser no máximo. Até que eu junte o suficiente pra aí sim ter um Pc digno de GTA 6.
Achei um SSD 128gb por 99, tem umas rams ddr3 de 8 gigas na internet por uns 50... se é que são confiáveis. Ou gastar tudo numa RX 580, ou Placa mãe desse valor ou um Ryzen de até mil, se é que vale apena alguma dessas 3 coisas hoje em dia. O que vcs recomendam?

She's helped by a neighbor boy who she eventually dates and is adopted by the owners of a convenience store at the end of the book.

Hi! When I set up my account I was put into a lot of subreddits that I didn’t think were relevant to me so I went through and left the ones I felt weren’t relevant and kept the ones that were. However, there is one subreddit that I keep trying to leave and just for the life of me can not leave. I’ve tried leaving through clicking “joined” and through the settings but no matter what, whenever I go back to the page I’m still in the subreddit and it still shows up in my subreddits page. I googled it and it seems I’m not the only one having this problem either.

A couple years ago we had a great smart tv that easily connected wirelessly to my laptop. I mean, I opened the setting on my laptop and hit connect wirelessly, the tv popped up and I selected it and the tv reflected my laptop screen. It was wonderful especially since I do schoolwork (college) with it and play jackbox and things…
Fast forward moving to a new home (mil move) the tv got damaged in the move. Bought a new smart tv which works great except I cannot connect my laptop. I have to either connect with hdmi which is inconvenient in the space or I can try various types of chrome casting and mirroring with apps I can get on the tv (Westinghouse tv) but none of them work as well. My laptop still has the same capes and works with other tvs so I know it’s this tv.
If I look to buy a new tv, what is the feature I’m looking for??

Assalamu Alaikum Muslims. Whenever I try to sleep, I feel like I am dying. Not in a psychologic way. I feel like my brain stops and my heart stops. I need to force myself to open my eyes and get up before I actually sleep because otherwise I can die. (I do not have trouble breathing so I dont think its sleep apne). I used to be unable to open my eyes for a few seconds, now it happens sudden and a few times. It used to happen longer and 1-2 times and now shorter and 3-4 times and I have no idea whats happening. It used to happen when I was usually stressed. Now it happens every night despite my emotions
