Hello, so i build my new pc and dont want to sell my old pc parts, i like trying and building new stuff and was wondering if i can turn it into a nas thats also working as a retro gaming console for my TV only, i want it to boot into emulator instantly without noticing windows or something. i mean i could just plug in hdmi from nas to tv and use mouse and keyboard but thats not fun is it.
is there a way to trigger it manualy on my phone so its booting differently or i dont know im pretty nooby with homeserver stuff, just a fun thought i had

My bf (M26) and I (F24) started dating in January of this year after two weeks of hanging out. Things moved quickly because he ended up inviting me on a cruise with his single dad shortly after. The cruise was a great experience and we got to visit the Bahamas, The Dominican Republic, and go to Miami. Both him and his dad bought me gifts which I was surprised since it was the first time I had met the dad. I was grateful and thought the vacation was starting off really well. A couple of days into the cruise, the dad decided to have a party in his cabin with people he had met while on the ship. While at this small party, everyone was drinking and my bf mentioned how he couldn’t wait to invite a bunch of beautiful women over for the party. This was said in front of his dad which I was immediately embarrassed and got upset. I went back to my cabin and he ended up following me back and apologized. I realized that I still had a few days left on this cruise and to not let this shady comment completely ruin the trip for me. Later that night, we ended up back at the dad’s cabin and there was only one couple there (married woman and husband) at the time. I was getting tired and decided to head back to my room while my bf chose to stay and hang out with his dad and the couple. I fell asleep and a couple hours later I realized he wasn’t back and this time it was 2am. I texted him and he came back to tell me that the woman at the party had asked to have sex with my bf. I asked him if he did and he quickly said no and just wanted to let me know what had happened. In my head I thought that he had done something with her and was telling me to make it seem like he didn’t.. or he was telling me to boost his own ego and make me realize he’s desirable to others. He told me he wanted to let me know to build trust. I was obviously suspicious of the whole situation and a couple of days later the woman had messaged him on the cruise app to apologize for her behavior and even apologized for going behind my back. In that point of time I did start to believe my bf and think that maybe nothing did happen.
Fast forward a couple weeks later I decided to move on from the situation until I overheard my bf talking about the woman on the cruise to his friend on the phone. This time he mentioned that the woman had touched him inappropriately and even took her bra off in front of him. I asked why he never told me those details and he pretended to act like he did. We started to argue about it and then he suggested that he needed a break from me! A couple of hours later he apologized for the whole situation and for not being honest. I knew I should have dropped him then and there but I didn’t. I forgave him, and we dated for a couple more months and we were fine during this time.
Then a week ago he went on a trip with his roommate for the weekend and came back three days later saying he was confused about me and the whole cruise situation. He could also wake up everyday fine with or without me. I told him I wasn’t going to be with someone who was confused about me and told him that the cruise situation was his wrong doing and I would never be ashamed for how I reacted. More than likely he probably found someone else on his weekend trip and decided to break it off. Since then I realized I am not upset about how we’re broken up.. But upset about how it was done and what he said to me. I’m upset with myself for not ending it sooner. He called me recently to apologize how he handled the breakup and asked to see me in person to know he was genuine. I declined and said we were officially done. I do realize I’m at fault for letting this relationship last longer than it should have. I feel like this relationship has caused me to have trust issues. I really would appreciate any kind words or advice on how to move on from this.

So I recently had an appointment with my primary care doctor to request some more test, talk about previous test and get some referrals and she actually listened to me because I had one of those patient advocates in the room. I've been trying to get her to get me sent to a specialist who would be able to help diagnose and treat tmau type 2 for literal months and she acted like she couldn't do it before. She kept telling me that the specialist rejected it or she didn't think my health insurance would accept it or that I personally wouldn't be able to afford it. I go into my appointment with the patient advocate (who can report doctors for malpractice) and she definitely acted differently. She told me of a practice (I'd been to mind you) that didn't reject patients and got me a simply referred me there. She also acted like I hadn't told her before and this was the first time I was bringing it up. I don't think you understand the side eye I side eyed. 😒😒

2024.11.29 20:53 Medoagamer Just finished watching the the game awards video.
I must say it's very good. I liked act man's nomination choices and his charm was there though out. And he really nailed it during the controversy segment, he both acknowledged SotET was amazing AND that it should not have been nominated for game of the year which I agree wholeheartedly. I feel it should have gone into best ongoing game or added a new category for "Best DLC/Expansion".
1 thing that he didn't mention but I wanted to add was that I noticed that a lot of JRPG fans on Twitter (make of tha what you will) say that the awards or Geoff Keighley is biased against the genre. As a fan of them myself, I personally don't think he's outright biased, as Final fantasy 7 Rebirth is a nominee for it and I believe Persona 5 was a nominee for game of the year in 2017. But I do see where they're coming from given how outside of Persona 5 in 2017, I can't really recall any other example, but that could just be due to me not really following the game awards until 2023 so I could be wrong, so if I am, please correct me in the comments.
