Sorry, for any spelling mistakes English is not my first language. So today i (14 f), had a problem with the principal and my P.E teacher at school. We had a problem because i didn't go to that class in 2 weeks.(İ have meniscus in my right knee. For those who don't know, simply the muscle in my knee is torn)İ am going to have a operasyon next year. İ didn't show up to P.E because, i feel pain when jump or run. Plus the Last time i tried participate, i couldn't walk for a week. İn those two weeks i tried to get a couple of documents. When i finally got it, i showed it to my P.E teacher she was a little passive aggressive with me (she has been like that for a long while)and then we went to the principals office she told me to wait , so she could copy it. After a while she told me to enter the office. When i entered they (the teacher and the principal) started questioning me about my where abouts etc,.... The whole conversation was them making fun of me ,telling me how disrespectful i am, that i had make up for the hours that i was missing by writing the protocol (for 6 hours in total), that they were going to call my mother and telling me that they were going to call cps for thirty minutes long. (İ just said okey but she hated that and told me not to talk back. Tbh i don't think i was talking back.)When i got home i told my parents about it they didn't like that. My father said that it was illegal to pressure a student.(we live in austria i am not sure if that is true)My mother told me to arrange a meeting with the principal, so that she could give her a piece of her mind. İ just want this to be over. She has done this before in elementary school when the director was being racist towards my brother. How do i talk her out of it? Any and all advice is appricciated

2024.11.29 20:58 Bimbim-Angel Med, sleep, self care going through it
Started out with Adderall and the problem was that I keep waking up in the night.
Got on Ritalin and at first it seemed ok.
Started having these major anxiety attacks on Ritalin. They are incredibly intense. Unlike adderall, they persist rather than get better when I get symptoms.
The anxiety makes me feel like I can’t do anything but live in it.
It’s the coffee I realize now and if I am not feeling well that also causes it from taking it anyways (lack of sleep).
My doctor recently started me on gabapentin and my sleep problems have pretty much disappeared because I can fall back asleep so much more easily. .
I’m going to try to go back onto the Adderall because I felt a lot better than perhaps if I continue taking the gabapentin at night I’ll still be able to sleep through the night a lot better still.
At this point, I’m solidly convinced that it’s sleep apnea mixed with narcolepsy.
1) when I wake up my throat usually hurts and my heart is beating very fast been having same symptoms for years. I tried to record myself and didn’t really hear anything so I didn’t think that it could be possible but then I found out later that some people make absolutely zero noise with sleep apnea.
2) I have always started dreaming almost immediately and a lot of times before I even completely asleep which I found out recently actually that that is a form of narcolepsy. With I literally could barely stay awake during the day. I get really tired around no matter what and this is just been forever. Even if I got enough sleep the night before.
I’m honestly tired of all it. I don’t wanna do anything. I just wanna wash my hands of all of it and take like a two month break from meds and work on a Mexican beach but you know that doesn’t really work that way.
Unfortunately, I have to work and keep a job which I’ve struggled for years to do because I often fight with people from a long term extreme sensitivity. Adderall seems to mix that where Ritalin it’s the same bs.
As much I hated feeling like I just landed from the moon every night as I was increasing to higher doses on the Adderall I was actually starting to want to get dressed and to look my best and I think that that’s something that I needed to have, I’ve kind of turned into like this homeless looking Schub looking bummy now.
As the last ditch effort since I’m going to see my doctor in about a week, I decided I’m going to try to take a much lower dose of the Ritalin and see if it helps at all I’d rather it be out of my system for work but it doesn’t seem possible.
For now just literally cannot drink coffee not even one more time the anxiety attack I had this morning made me feel like I was in hell. I never had that on Adderall although I did have anxiety from time to time.

2024.11.29 20:58 Pickled_Kagura Has anyone else's schedules changed to "9 hours" with the same start and end as usual?
I work overnights and the last 2 weeks my usual 10-7 has been listed as 9 hours instead 8. My 10-8 for Thanksgiving was listed as 10 hours. I put in 9 hours of ppto today for my Thanksgiving call in and it only took half a point off. I know they'll fix it when I get there tonight but I'm still baffled.
Has anyone else encountered this?

Hey all! Just wanted some advice and to quickly check in and make sure what I’m experiencing is normal.
I’ve had stones several times over the past few years. I believe I’m currently passing one. In addition to the pain I’ve had before, this time I’m experiencing a persistent, throbbing pain which subjectively feels like it’s in the head of my penis - it’s been over a week now. This pain increases in intensity when I urinate. It also tends to really screw up my gut, and also there is what I believe is some kind of referred pain in my butt/bhole region.
Long story short this is a massive and literal pain in my ass and I’m just looking for some corroboration so I know it’s in the realm of normal. Any advice would also be appreciated of course!

You'll ask someone a question and they look at you as if they are offended that someone like you would dare speak to them. Asked a fella at a pack station next to me if he had an extra roll of tape that I could use since I ran out, dude looked at me just like that, didn't say a word. Ok cool. It is what it is. I know he speaks English too since he was talking to the PA that stationed him there with perfect English. This isn't even the only time something similar happened.
Don't get me started on the constant ego battles. Too many dudes try to have stare off's with me or with each other in FWA6. I don't get it. I ignore it all, I don't have time for it. Also, if y'all are going to ask for something, ask it with a tone of voice that you yourself would tolerate without getting offended. Too many of y'all ask for favors with this nasty ass attitude and tone in your voice, and i don't like it. I look at them like a fool every time they do that.
Don't get me started on when you are polite when asking them something. As I stated in the 1st paragraph, mf's will act like they don't hear you, or answer with this tone deaf, unenthusiastic tone and energy. Especially some of these vests. The vests do it too cause they know they have that bs power wearing that crap. It's ridiculous man.
I do my best to ignore it and just come into work and work my butt off but man, these people irk my nerves.
