I've started therapy ofc. It wasnt the best relationship. He had his issues which I didnt know about for a long time, I had mine which ultimatlely led to him breaking up with me. I dont wanna throw blame, its lots of unresloved problems on both sides. We've been together for almost 2,5 years. Which to somebody more Experinced May not seem a long time We Experinced a lot together. This relationship propmoted me to come out with my friends and most importantly to my mom. Which wasnt easy you know, I never planned this, always thought I would never do it, because I belived I cant and It would ruin my life. And now I am out, but without the most important person to share it with. We broke up once(he's an alcoholic he lost himself and hurt me real bad) but this one is peacful, and seems permanent. I am 27, he is 37. Should I throw myself into random hook ups or parties? Will this help in any way? I live in a big city, there's no problem with fiding gay bars or clubs or saunas. When it comes to friends, I am kinda alone here. Most of my friends live far away I am devastated, I feel alone, living in my own apartament which I bought this year, he actually helped me chose it. and I kinda cant stand being here without him.

Hey all - I’m just hoping for some honest feedback because my husband feels one way and now I’m doubting my judgment. The two of us opted to have Thanksgiving at a local steakhouse that had a prix fixe meal - $45 pp ($60 if you wanted wine pairings) and you have a turkey meal with all the fixings. We arrived for our reservation (5:45pm) and we sat at 6:08pm - perfect in my opinion. Service was prompt and food was yummy, we had no issues and only called for the server once for refills. The bill came to $90 (we only drank water and I had baked dessert at home for us to enjoy later). I paid with my card and left a $20 bill for the tip. As I was signing the bill, my husband went to the restroom and I started gathering our things. The server came by, took the checkbook, and turned to me and said “that’s it?” I looked up a bit shocked and said “I’m sorry?” He picked up the $20 and just looked at me. At this point, I was upset given that I felt $20 was a decent tip. So I took the $20 back and told him he wouldn’t be getting anything now. At this point, my husband returns from the restroom to the server walking away and me putting the money away. In the car, I gave my husband the full breakdown and he said I’m TA for taking the tip back and that I should’ve just told him that the tip was appropriate. And that I stiffed him on a holiday shift as well. I feel that if the roles were switched and I had been the one in the restroom, the server wouldn’t have said anything as the tip was over 20% and he only stopped being pushy with me when my husband returned. So AITA for taking the tip back?

2024.11.29 20:55 Pilovali Can't login to controller anymore
I was having issues connecting to my controller from the app on my phone, so I wanted to re-add it to the app. Thus I deleted the controller in the app... it seems that I somehow removed it from Omada Cloud, because I can't see it there anymore.
If I want to login to my omada controller, I get this message: "Your account has not been verified. Please accept the invitation and then try again."
How do I accept this invitation? I didn't get any mails. If I do a password reset, I do get an email from my controller and I can reset the password.
I tried multiple times to login locally, but it doesn't seem to work.
Can anybody help me with this? I do have daily FTP backups enabled.

Hi everyone,
I finished my PhD in molecular biology about 1.5 years ago. Since then I have been working as a research engineer at the university, but would like to leave academia. Most positions I applied for so far were R'n'D or bioinformatics, but competition is though. I made the final round for one job, but they ultimately went with another candidate and since then it's been pretty slow.
Now I'm in the process of interviewing for a sales rep position for a biotech company (CMO, CMDO). Not the type of job I'd been originally looking for, but the base salary seems to be decent enough, there's commission-based bonus, and work would for the most part be home based with some local travel, which is a huge bonus with a small child at home.
I'm trying to figure out what this move would mean for my long-term career options. What are possible future positions? Medical affairs, MSL, Business Development? Is it possible to make the switch back to a more R'n'D focused role later? I already feel I'm falling behind on a lot of recent trends and developments due to maternity leave, especially in a fast-moving field like bioinformatics and precision medicine. I'm based in Scandinavia, btw. In case it's relevant.
