Hey folk! So there is the junior of mine from my hometown, she started working in teleperformance few months back. Although she was aware about TP's work culture she went ahead and started working because she was in need of job. Fast forward like a week ago, her long time bf with whom she lives got really sick suffering from liver cirosis and typhoid together. She informed the POC in her office but he was so insensitive about it and asked her to come anyways she went there asked for half day, not just asked but begged for half day but it was not approved. She was with her bf for another 6 days in hospital taking care of him as they live away from home and informed them everything that how it is critical and everything yet TP management and their HR is extremely insensitive about all that. They didn't approved any leave even after applying on their portal. She also mentioned other issues as well, like cabs do not pick or drop at home in late hours, toxic work culture, they cancel cab if the people does not meet their targets for the day, unqualified staff etc etc. Now they put a hold on her salary and obviously she is in need because she helps her family and obviously hospital treatment costs money but no consolidation from her office.
I adviced to take legal action if it no one is listening to her, because words, email and f2f discussions does not work, she have tried already.
Now please suggest what else can be done here to resolve it??

2024.11.29 21:00 icelogic8 Mom got mad at me for asking her not to talk about me out loud.
Was cooking and mom came into the kitchen and started cooking aswell. I commerical about kids was playing on her phone, and then she said out loud "My kids never played with other kids, what's wrong with them?" Didn't just end there, just went on basically repeating it outloud until she said "let me turn this commerical off.
Now this just made me upset, ruined my mood that was "ok" today. So I told her, "Can you not say that?"
She then instantly got upset and said "I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to myself I talk to commericals outloud all the time. How are you telling me what to say in my house.
I really don't get it. I mean, I'm right there why are you saying something so... rude about me (and my siblings but I know she means mostly me) outloud. Why couldn't you just keep something like that to yourself?
She was trying to deflect, justify her actions "it's my house I can say what I want," bullshit. She literally does this kind of thing every single day. Talk about us (me mostly) outloud it's so mentally draining.
I regret even saying anything and I should've just stayed quiet because now she's mad and throwing stuff, slamming things, etc. Heard her say "They're really telling me what to say in my house.
She makes me feel bad for saying anything about it but damn it hurt to have your mom just saying "what's wrong with you", especially since I read documents a few months ago where she said horrible lies about me such as "I like to lie to hurt other people" to some physicist (this is when I was barley 12).
Like Im not telling you what you can and can not say. I'm saying do not talk about me like that. It shouldn't matter if it's your house or not? It's basic human decency but I guess she can do whatever she wants to me and say whatever since it's her house (I didn't chose to live with you,).
I can't be crazy, her throwing stuff and being mad makes me feel like I'm in the wrong. Whatever it is, I shouldn't have said anything. I should have just shut my mouth because I would rather be talked about everyday then deal with this.
