2024.11.29 21:00 Bier0320 Dural Tear After 4 Level Lumbar Fusion on July 24, 2024. Advice Pls
I had a 4 level lumbar fusion in July 2024. I had a multi-level laimectomy in Aug 2023. Since the laminectomy in Aug 2023, my lower back felt swollen. A post op MRI in Jan 2024 identified fluid, but i was told not to worry about it.
Fast forward to July 2024. i had numerous MRIs and CTs in between the Jan 2024 MRI that identified the fluid and my July fusion. i also saw several drs sho reviewed the film and not one mentioned fluid, including the dr that performed my lumbar fusion.
I was going to have an injection done two weeks ago and the dr saw the fluid on an MRI and said he was concerned and wouldnt do an injection until i had a CT done so the fluid could be addresses. i just got back from the CT. The tech asked me if i knew i had a fluid build up. i answered yes, why? he said he never saw that much fluid in that spot.
I have a follow up with the Dr Wed. obviously i am anxious.
Has anyone had a dural tear that required surgical repair? Time in hospital

Hello everyone,
I need some advice on my options here.
I live in LA but I’m from Europe. Here is my conundrum:
- I will definitely be in LA for the next 12 months.
- I will probably have to go back to Europe for a few months to change my visa before I return. The problem is I don’t know if this will take 2 months or something more like 9.
But I’d lose 2 down payments if I do Autonomy now and then lease from Tesla again when I’m back for good with more certainty.
Price wise I’m looking at $3600 including down payment and a refundable security deposit with Autonomy and then $376/mo after that. Can cancel anytime. For Model 3.
Then from Tesla it’s Est. Lease Payment $548 /mo for model Y Or $441/mo for Model 3, $2,999 down, 24 months. I could get that lease payment down more but I chose full self driving which is why it’s on the higher side for now. My main issue is what to do if I need to end the lease early in 12 months?
Hoping someone has some advice here.

2024.11.29 21:00 Mr_Ballyhoo password variables from variables.pkr.hcl file not passing over to build.pkr.hcl or sources.pkr.hcl files in CI/CD Gitlab Pipeline
I've been chasing a n issue for sometime now and finally discovered that for some reason the password for my ssh account isn't passing from my variables file(variables.pkr.hcl) to my build template file or my sources file. I've had to hardcode my ssh accounts password in to my build file and vsphere-iso sources file to get it to work. The username maps fine. It's weird that it's grabbing the username and all the other fields fine but not my password. it even grabs the password for logging in to my vcenter API fine as well.
any ideas?
This all works normal on a regular linux box, this only seems to happen on my gitlab runner instance. I've even run the packer build from an account on the machine that hosts my runner and it works fine.

So, I don't know if it's a common issue nor I know if it's good to post it here, but I gotta ask.
I'm playing modded, as a premise, and i'm trying to demolish an old base i made because i'm moving out of there. Small problem tho, i have a moonpool with the console upgrade, but I can't demolish said console because there's a clone (?) of it that won't let me. I have no idea why or how to fix it, but I got other issues like this as well. For example the hatches of the base can't be demolished because there's underWater in the way... what? I'm trying so hard, but I can't find a way to do it and i'm thinking of just making another world and start over. Pls help.
Also i have like 5 random sand sharks which all have double their original size, but i'm pretty sure i never messed with them nor added such mod.

So in a nutshell, I’ve just taken over an IT project from a PM who’s moving out of the project. The reasons on the ex-PM moving out was purely a management decision and was not performance related; probably purely monetary. I’m a PM who’s a tad bit less experienced buy have managed projects and teams equally complex.
The PM I am taking over from is a bit attached to the project and reckons it’s their “baby”. While I respect the sentiment - I’m left in a situation where the handover was mostly subpar. The conversations we’ve had in totality during the transition amounted an hour, maximum 2 hours. Our managers had communicated about sharing a handover plan, but this went nowhere as they themselves were busy with other priorities.
Taking matters into my own hands now - Please understand that this was not a lack of me trying. Reaching out for a meeting or a session always resulted in a cookie cutter response like “I’m busy”, “On my next client call”, personal reasons etc.
I feel I’ve been setup to fail - but intend on taking this as my next challenge.
Any words of advice from this community is highly appreciated.
