I thought I write this comment since we're close to the end of the year, and the wrap up summary will show up soon. So I'd say, try and get through Botany Manor. There is one set on console and another 1120 set on windows. Both are on Gamepass and it can be streamer. (Including the console one)
Easily finished in an afternoon/evening and nets 2120 GS

My Synology box sits behind a Wireguard VPN, no 2FA, just user and password, since I figured being behind a VPN is 'secure enough'. i.e. it's not discoverable on the internet.
QuickConnect is disabled.
Whenever I need remote access I just split-tunnel into my home VPN and grab files I need. It's mostly used as long time backup of important files.
Should I enable 2FA (either via Synology app or USB key), or is that overkill since it sits under a VPN?

2024.11.29 20:56 LumpyMilk423 After about 3 weeks, resident cat acts like she's engaged in a long war against our new cat
Resident cat is adult female, new cat adult male. She does a weird growl-moan through the gate when it's between them, otherwise it's a closed door. She tries to slip through the door when we open it to attack him. New cat is just a bit timid but never aggressive or vocal back.
We give them treats when they're in close proximity, they have their own food, water, and litter box, we swap their places every once in a while, we have feliway. Is there anything more we can do or do we just keep this up for the indefinite amount of time it will take for her to relax?

I have just been offered a position at one of the EU Institutions in Luxembourg with annual net income of EUR 77 000. Is it enough to live on your own?
My past 5 years I was living in Southern European countries - Spain/Italy, which I really enjoyed. I am kind of afraid of Lux after all negative comments that I found around... Now I have an indefinite contract in Northern Italy in a small village by the lake, which I really enjoy. I wouldn't change it, but the opportunity may give a possibility to get high position in short period of time and possibile move after 1/2 years to other location.

 | I've missed the last couple Woody Allen movies I think. I know I didn't see Rifkins Festival and idk what came before that but the last one I remember watching was Wonder Wheel or maybe there was one with Joaquin Phoenix maybe? Idk. It seems like since that HBO documentary came out his movies have been kind of buried. But hey God bless him he's still finding a way to make them and I'll probably still check them out when I notice one online somewhere. When it comes to woody allen I think pretty much every movie of his is pretty good. There's some that are really great that are good enough to watch more than once and some are good but there's no real reason to ever watch again. Well this is one of the ones that's pretty good but there's no real reason to watch again. Woody Allen has a lot of famous dialogue lines and stuff and well this one's all in French so I was kind of living off the subtitles for this one. But hey I still enjoyed it. It's one of the more serious ones more a long the lines of match point something like that, but you know, not as good as it could've been I guess. Maybe this one could've used a little more comedy in it? I mean a lot of the movie is about like believing in chance and kind of ironic things happening to people maybe a little lighter and a little more humor could've elevated it. I mean they had the mom in this who should've been more of the Woody Allen wacky character or whatever but they didn't really go there with it. Well anyway if youre a woody allen fan I would say this is worth checking out and you'll probably enjoy it and you'll probably forget about it within 24 hours. So sure check it out see what he's been up to in France! Good morning,
Thanks to the persistent and diligent efforts of the General Committee in advocating for telework with Agency leadership over the last year, we are happy to announce that we have secured a deal that places current levels of telework into our National Agreement through October 25, 2029. The deal also locks in the terms of the GC’s episodic telework and split days MOU into the contract, while removing language from Article 41 regarding elimination or termination of the telework program that would contradict the changes to maintain current levels of telework. (See pages 8-10 of the attached PDF.)
We cannot thank Commissioner O’Malley enough, who signed this deal himself, for his commitment to SSA employees and the continued high-quality public service we provide, both at the ODS and the ADS. This deal will secure not just telework for SSA employees, but will secure staffing levels through prevention of higher attrition, which in turn will secure the ability of the Agency to serve the public. This is a win for employees and for the American public.
More information for representatives will follow in the coming days. Stay tuned.
