My son has had light intermittent limping the past month or so. It’d always resolve quickly and he’d be running and playing like normal. This week he said it hurts so bad he can’t walk and it’s also super swollen. I’ve gotten an X-ray from pediatrician and got referred ti orthopedics as the X-ray came back clean. Was hoping for an MRI and fluid drainage to offer my son (whose 5) relief. He walked in the room, didn’t touch the knee, and said I’m reluctant to do an MRI cuz he’s 5 and I won’t drain the fluid and that was that. And then referred me to a different “specialist”. Honestly this is why I hate doctors. It’s a lot of bouncing around with no answers. I’m going to bring him to the chiro on Monday and hope that helps otherwise idk what else to do besides rest it. I feel so bad for him and the doctor won’t help!! Anyone have experience with this and what helped?

I’ve been considering trying out the shampoo bars from Sun Basin Soap, but I have one significant concern: I suffer from rather heavy dandruff (especially during the winter season we’re now entering) and I’ve always had to resort to shampoo brands that are specifically designed for that kind of haircare in order to effectively manage it.
Has anyone else with bad dandruff tried out the Sun Basin Soap shampoo bars? And if so, what has your experience been? I’ll probably end up ordering at least one to give it a try myself, but it would also be helpful to hear from y’all who already know what to expect from experience.

Hi, I’ve been upregulating the posterior cingulate cortex with infraslow neurofeedback with a professional. Since studies of developmental trauma indicate an underperforming DMN, we are upregulating. Since then I’ve been experiencing hyper sensitivity to rejection and perceived abandonment (problems I’ve long been dealing with). Does this sound like an understandable side effect for DMN training, as it’s surfacing underlying issues (preverbal neglect)?

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe am 9.12. eine Operation, die etwas kompliziert ist, und werde einige Erholungszeit benötigen. Jetzt ist es so, dass ich bei der Arbeit nicht komplett für die lange Zeit verschwinden möchte (arbeite in einen Super-Projekt und den möchte ich nicht verlieren) und überlege, wie ich das ganze am besten gestalten soll. Insbesondere will ich nicht ins Krankengeld rutschen .
Für den Zeitraum 9.12 - 31.12. habe ich seit langem einen Urlaub beauftragt. Muss ich diesen wegen meiner Krankheit unbedingt stornieren? Oder geht es, zum Beispiel, dass ich nur die Zeit im Krankenhaus als krank melde? Wäre es denkbar, dass ich zum Beispiel für die Woche im Krankenhaus krankgeschrieben bin und für die restlichen Genesung nutze meinen Urlaub? Eventuell kann ich dann Anfang Januar noch 1-2 Wochen krankgeschrieben sein, je nachdem, wie es mir geht.
Gibt es irgendwelche rechtlichen Gründen, warum ich durchgehend eine AU brauche?
Zur Info: ich arbeite 100% im Home Office, am PC, die Arbeit ist nicht kompliziert.
