After everything you said and did at the end of us it’s impossible for me to not hate and resent you. I think about the words you chose and how you conducted yourself afterwards and it makes me question everything about our relationship. Things I never should’ve overlooked in the first place. I don’t think I ever got to know who you really are. I think the mask you wore got too heavy and it started to slip. When it came off and you showed your true colors it ripped my heart in half.
It’s been 2 months now of NC. 2 months of not talking to you everyday. 2 months of not hearing your voice. 2 months without my best friend. I let myself cry and feel sad and hurt but now I look back at our relationship and see everything differently. I don’t even know what to be sad over anymore. You lied so much to everyone, including me. Who even are you?How do I mourn the loss of someone when the version of them I loved never even existed in the first place?
I hate that I think about our happy memories and they make me sick to my stomach now. I hate you for making me hate you. The last time we ever spoke you deliberately said awful things to me because you wanted me to hurt. You chose that, you knew what you were doing. I will never forgive you for what you said. So now I get to continue to heal, and to figure out how to forgive you. I don’t want to carry this anger towards you anymore. You don’t deserve to live rent free in my head anymore.
