Grew up Christian but became an atheist later for personal reasons, not as serious as some others but it boils down too, it doesn’t make any sense to me scientifically, I don’t talk about it much in my personal life. But here’s the thing, I love playing video games that have religious mythology, I considered playing God of War (Greek mythology), I recently got Black Myth Wukong and I’m loving it (Chinese Mythology), I considered getting Cult of the Lamb (Satanism) etc. I like watching movies that have different takes on religion 9/10 is Christianity.
I’m not confused and I know deep in my heart I don’t believe in anything in the media I consume but despite that I still like it and actively seek it. Just seeing how its portrayed interests me a lot. So I came here to ask for y’all’s thoughts and opinions on this.

 | So to give some backstory this was my first Gander spawn. I got my pup back in April of 2023 far before DD2 came to xbox. The theme of the breeder I got him from are stars. The male of his litter was Gander(Gander at the Stars) and the female was Stella(Starry eyed Stella. I ended up naming him Dismas cause DD1 is in my top five and I love the Highwayman. In South County and looking for recommendations for HVAC replacement for our 1600 square foot townhouse. Our unit works decently but is about 20 years old and on borrowed time. We may rent out our townhouse in the next year or so and would like to get this done before we rent it out.
Main requirement is a company that does financing. Other requirements is obviously the trio of non rip off pricing, good unit that’ll last a long time, and good customer service.

I am not sure what I am looking for, but here goes a rant/worry.
My sibling (43) was in a serious car accident 5 years ago and as a result has a brain injury, lost an arm, one lung does not perform at 100%, and now has severe scoliosis.
My dad (72) currently lives near him and takes him to all his appointments and helps him manage things - even though my sibling wants to manage things on their own and be independent there are things they need help with. They have a homecare worker come a few times a week, my dad drives them everywhere, and there is a financial advisor that is managing the money he received from his settlement and is ensuring he has enough in the bank for his bills each month.
My sibling and dad live in another province. When my dad is no longer able to help them, I fear what this will look like. My mom also lives in a different province. As the only sibling I am OF COURSE happy to take on anything they need, but I have a family of 5 that I won't be able to pick up and move should they need me to be closer. They have a good circle of friends that have been around since before the accident - so relocating to be closer to me would be difficult.
I would like to mentally prepare for what comes next as I don't see my dad being able to do what he has been doing for many more years to come. I fear that my sibling would have to move into assisted living at some point - their brain injury has made their memory awful and they will likely at some point require more than a few days of homecare workers help. It hasn't even happened yet and I feel guilty for the thought of not being there for them when they need me and having to hire people using the limited (large sum but not for the rest of his life) money they received from their settlement.
Plus as mentioned, I have aging parents that are not in perfect health.
Being part of a sandwich generation (young kids/aging parents) is hard - throwing in a disabled sibling is breaking my brain.

I'm throughly devout at starting a webtoon with my oc's story. I've drawn comics before and it's free to publish on webtoon canvas, so why the hec not? The only problem is I have no idea what to title the webtoon!
Basically, the main character, Archimedes is an owl harpy and the story follows his life as a knight, his adoptive father being the captainof the gaurd. It's a generic low fantasy setting and a slice of life more than anythiny.
(I'm bad at taking pictures of stuff in my sketch book, I know)

A dear friend of mine is struggling and I’ve been trying to get him to get him to go to AA because it changed my son’s godmother’s life. She’s been in recovery for over a decade, got married, has two children, is a partial owner in a very profitable business now. She also maintained her sobriety through her sister’s very tragic death. She attributes all of this to AA. She did rehab twice and relapsed. AA has kept her recovering.
My friend who is struggling has gotten sober a number of times and relapses. He’s at a dangerous point medically and is more open to assistance right now. He’s trying to get into a rehab facility when he has some time off in Dec. He’s also (in my opinion) starting to make excuses of why it won’t work out. In the meantime, I was wondering if there are any virtual meetings that he could attend? Maybe that can help him so he goes to rehab. He can’t drive for understandable reasons. I know a little about AA but not enough to know if there are different types of groups or it’s just everyone depending on time and date. I apologize for not researching this more myself on the internet. I figured I’d get the best info from y’all anyway. I’d love to just text him a link and say, “Log in. You can just listen if you want, but log in.”

Buenas gente. Consulta, tengo a mi familia que se esta gestionando ciudadania española por la gestoria Alteno. Por el momento aparenta ir todo en orden, les piden papeles sobre nuestros bisabuelos (quienes son los que inmigraron de españa para aca) y afortunadamente cuentan con todos ellos. Bueno como comente por el momento va todo bien y lo que tienen que pagar por hacer el tramite en familia son usd650 que se paga en 2 cuotas.
