2024.11.29 21:32 Bristow9091 In the base game (Spacer's Choice PS5), what are the highest skill checks for persuasion and hacking?

Hi,
So I'm just trying to figure out the rest of my playthrough as I go along, I've got all my speech abilities at 50, plus or minus anything from buffs and debuffs, with Pervati in my party I have persuasion at 60 and I much prefer persuasion over intimidation or... is it lying? so I'm going to focus on this more than the others I think.
I also have Max in my party (I love his companion ability, he's such a badass with it lol) and he gives me a hacking bonus too, I'm currently getting those three to 50 naturally, and then anything on top of that with buffs and debuffs of course.
Out of curiosity though, what are the highest skill checks needed for persuasion and hacking? Also a bonus thankyou for lockpicking, medical and engineering, since I use these a lot too!
One more thing; Are there any party members that would be objectively better than the ones I currently have for speech checks and such? I heard Parvati and Felix together are great for the persuasion boost, but what is his companion ability? I've never used him lol, and how do those two get along? Any fun banter or anything between them? I know she liked him in the "interview" and found him funny, so maybe they'd work well together as party?

Had both for the first time and I find both pretty decent compared to most MC I've had in my limited time. Both have the very gassy taste and are similar to my untrained palate. They appear to have a few different Terpenes and I'm having a hard time figuring out what I like more and what works for me.
I want to try Atomic Sour Grapefruit next month as its profile seems similar to LA Kush which I loved, , so will need to swap out either the SD or FG.
What would you keep?

2024.11.29 21:32 RafeDangerous Pro-power as backup generator issue...help?

Hey all, I'm trying to get set up to use my 240 outlet for backup power and I'm running into the dreaded "Ground fault detected" error. I've been reading through the forums, but I'm hoping someone here might have an idea to help me narrow things down. All the work is being done by a licensed electrician, and he's going to call Generac for ideas and talk to a few colleagues, but I figure if anyone here has had a similar experience I could pass along any tips to him.
Here's where we are so far:
1) I'm using a Generac 6852 panel, which I'd hoped would keep this from happening. The narrator: It did not.
2) First try was turning off the main breaker and switching to the Generac panel, Pro-power already running. Instant ground fault.
3) Second try was turning off the main breaker, switching to the Generac panel, then turning on Pro-power. Same result.
3) Third try was turning off all of the breakers on the Generac panel, turning off the main breaker, turning on Pro-power, and then turning on each breaker on the Generac panel one by one. Ground fault each time we turned on a breaker, didn't matter which one.
It was getting late in the day on Thanksgiving-eve, so that's where we stopped for now (picking up again after the weekend). My electrician is very experienced with generator installs and has used that panel before, but never to run it from an F-150. He seems pretty confident that what he did would be working if it was going to a normal generator. I've been compiling things I find in other posts and forums, but if this situation sounds familiar I'd really appreciate some input!

Hello Masons! Just like the title says, i’m wondering if being a freemason would be good for me. A little background: many of my ancestors were masons, and I still have living family members who are active masons. To keep it short- one side of my family is heavily involved.
Now, the only things I have really learned about the masons has been from being part of this subreddit and seeing what you guys have to say. I agree with basically everything freemasonry stands for, like being a better man, doing good for your community, etc. however, the problem is that i’m pretty left-leaning in the political sense. I don’t tolerate maga extremism, as I only see hatred, fear mongering, bigotry, and contradiction come from that side.
That being said, where does masonry fall under a political spectrum- if it even does so? I know that in Missouri (where my family resides), people are usually conservative or right-wing. Do these meetings or rituals tend to get political? Would I be accepted as a liberal, more progressive person? Is there any form of political indoctrination that they want you to follow? Does it just depend on the location of the lodge?
This matters to me because I do not want to be involved in anything that promotes hatred or bigotry against others, or exploits others for personal gain or masonic gain in our capitalist system.
If anyone could offer up their experiences or advice, either liberal or conservative, I would love to have some input! Thanks guys.

I got highlights and haircut from a salon, as soon as I came in the person coughed and said she just has a lingering cough from having covid last week for the third time. Started feeling bad last Wednesday and she got back to work this Tuesday. She wasn't wearing a mask so I put mine on and said I literally just got over a really bad cold or flu and just want to be careful to not get sick again right now. She actually didn't cough much during. Actually her coworker was coughing horribly and also not wearing a mask but that person was on the other side of the building. We didn't talk much either because I was so exhausted today partly from recently getting over my own thing and having bad anxiety with little sleep. I haven't been able to get my covid shot yet and haven't had it for years so don't think I have any immunity. I'm just nervous because whatever I had was bad enough and that wasn't even covid according to 2 at home tests.

I got my wisdom tooth removed and it feels like they stitched part of my cheek. It's been about 9 days of this. It's not even the sockets that hurt. It's difficult to brush my tongue cause it feels like my cheek is being pulled and it's very painful. I went back to the office for the to check and they said it was stitched normally but I'm worried that this will heal like this and I won't be able to open my mouth without this stretching-like pain. Has anyone else had this experience?
