So I've been a consistent gold player the entire time I've played league of legends, which is on and off 10+ years now. I'm way better than when I first got gold, but geez the rest of the player base is way better than back then too. So I was quite surprised when one of my alt accounts went through a very bad luck streak and I ended up in bronze 3 through 80+ games, with my win rate at one point at 32 percent. This one account is absolutely cursed. I have a simultaneous account in gold right now, but this other account is bronze 3. Hell it might be even lower but I started spamming blitz games to take advantage of the fact that no one at these elos can dodge hooks. And I'm crushing lane every game but holy hell it's nonstop worthless solo laners and clueless junglers. 0-10 opposing adc in many games and it just doesn't matter.
It can be hard to carry games as a support when your adc can't even cs properly let alone kite and survive in teamfights. Yes I do look for other teammates to play around but again, sometimes you just get a full worthless team over and over. I had one streak in here where I lost 14 out of 15 games, and every game was unwinnable IMO just due to team diff. It's compounded by the fact that I play very late at night sometimes and late night games are inundated by smurfs and account boosters and this exaggerates the effect of luck because if you get the smurf on your team, you win and if they're on the other team you lose.
I don't have illusions about my level of skill. I am old and have poor reflexes and mediocre at best skillshot accuracy. But my macro is good and decision making is above average. If I didn't have other accounts in gold and knew I could get there eventually with this one as well, I'd be buying into the ideas of elo hell and loser's queue. The long run in league is longer than commonly acknowledged and it can take a long time for your skill edge to play out.

Daycare told us today that our 15 month old refuses to keep her winter boots on outside. They suggested getting ones with an elastic drawstring around the ankle to make sure they stay on. I’m seeing Stonz Toddler Booties or the Jan and Jul Stay-On Winter Trail Boots.

I've been in a crisis for about 10-11 days now and although I've been to the hospital, they've sent me home with bot much else they say they can do other than for me to keep drinking water and taking strong pain meds. Obviously, it sucks. But I wonder if this is relatively normal or if it's an outlier to have it last this long. It's the longest one I've ever had.

This happened 50 years ago, I was 13 years old, and to this day I regret doing it. Here is my confession.
I have always been afraid of horses. No horses in the big city where I live, so I only saw them when vacationing in the country, and they terrified me.
An older kid on a horse, sensing my fear, started crowding me and bumping into me with his horse. I tried to run, but you can guess how well that worked out for me. Eventually I panicked and punched the horse in the nose. (I wish I had punched the rider).
A was a small kid and I don't think I did any real harm, but the horse did NOT like it! Turns out, horses can move sideway really fast when they want to, and the bully fell off the horse. I made my escape while his buddies on their horses laughed at him.
I ran into him again the next day, and he tried it again. I thought I would be trampled. (I found out later that horses are actually very nice and try really hard to not hurt you). That horse absolutely would not come anywhere near me!
Anyway, I still feel bad about it. The horse was just doing what he was told to do and didn't deserve to be hit.
Go ahead and flame me. I deserve it.
