Hello I'm a newcommer to these games (coming from a laptop) and this might file under the other hundreds of posts that I've read about Vanguard but does it run immediately when I boot up my PC or only when I launch one of the respective games? I know that it runs on the kernel level of the pc's systems or at least on top of it but I'm wondering what it actually does while none of the respective games have been booted up.

I am struggling. My ex and I just broke up on his terms. We were long distance for the past 10 months. He's 28 and I'm 36. He has 2 children and I would have had to move if it worked out longer. He kept saying,"come move in with me." It scared me. It had only been 10 months and I suddenly felt intense pressure.
I just lost my Dad last year and was grieving along with having avoidant attachment. I have gone to therapy for it and was doing much better witg it. Plus, I have never done long distance and I felt it was easier for my avoidant attachment style.
There were details that were withheld with a particular situation. This led to trust issues and whenever I'd become overwhelmed with the subject I didnt trust him on, I'd grow distant. I'd say ," I dont care about this. Have a good day." A day or so would go by and I'd apologize sincerely for my behavior. Sometimes we'd have a discussion, sometimes we'd just move on.
My Dads death really hit me hard beginning in October. Thanksgiving and Christmas were coming and I became bitter, negative, and distant. I'd blame it on other things because I didn't want to burden him anymore. He finally got sick of my shit and dumped me. He told me I was negative and I abandoned him. I felt fucking awful and I didn't mean to. I was struggling internally.
I am a fucking wreck and I just want him back. I love him so incredibly much. I've talked to a therapist and my family. They told me give it some months and if it's meant to be, it'll be. He has made it clear we either can be friends or nothing. He seems happy and in a good place. That hurts.

Hi all, I (and my doc, Dr. Kim at Central Park OBGYN, Denver) suspect that I might have endo. I also have a dermoid ovarian cyst that needs to be removed. I've been happy with my doctor and relieved that he offered to diagnose and operate to help relieve my symptoms after years of being told that there's nothing that can be done and that everything seems "normal." My doctor comes highly recommended and has a lot of good reviews online.
I made the decision to schedule my surgery for Dec. 11th to get the cyst removed because Dr. Kim is retiring at the end of the year. Dr. Kim suggests also operating on the endo if it is found. He said that he often ablates it because he worries about causing damage to other tissues and creating more scar tissue than necessary. I told him that a lot of what I've been reading suggests that excision is superior. He said he's not sure if he agrees with that in every case and that it can be a little extreme, but knowing that is my preference, he can excise as much as possible. One option is to have him just diagnose/biopsy the endo if it is found, but only operate on the cyst. I just had a pre-op appointment with him and he said that he would strongly suggest that we operate on any endo found because he thinks it will greatly reduce my symptoms. I asked him what his track record has been with endo patients and he said about 90% have symptoms improve after he operates. He seems like a genuinely caring guy and has many years of practice doing these kinds of surgeries, and he seems really confident that mine will be a pretty straight forward procedure for him, though I don't think I would necessarily consider him an endometriosis specialist.
Does anyone have any advice for me about how to proceed? I really don't want to have more than one surgery if I don't have to (for example, if I ask him to just diagnose, but not operate on any endo found- if he does find endo, I might pursue getting another surgery with an endo specialist.) I also have the benefit that this operation will be completely covered by my insurance and I don't know how I would afford to work with a specialist outside of doing some kind of gofundme. I like the idea of the possibility of symptom relief by having the endo operated on. I also have read some stories about people having bad experiences and their symptoms made worse by having their endo operated on by someone who is not a specialist.
Again, my doctor is Dr. Kim at Central Park OBGYN in Denver- does anyone on here have any specific experience with him?
I really appreciate the help. I've been having trouble finding good information that makes me feel confident in making this decision.
