Kendrick has 3 songs that all have a very similar vibe and work together as a blueprint for this potential album. The songs are:
- The Heart Part 5
- Prayer (unreleased)
- Reincarnated
Let's talk about the music first. All of these songs have a very similar feeling musically. All of them have a core sample that evolves a lot over the course of the track thanks to original instrumentation. All of these instrumentals feel grand and epic, with strings, prominent bass-lines and other instruments. I can't articulate it well but if you listen to them back to back I promise you will at least somewhat see the similarities.
Now the subject matter is the clearest connection between these tracks. In every single song Kendrick takes on the perspectives of musicians or african american figures to illustrate a larger point. In the HP5 he takes on Nipsey Hustle, in Prayer if I remember right he was rapping from the perspective of Martin Luther Jr's speech, and in Reincarnated it's very clear he's rapping from the perspectives of 2 musicians, but I'm not sure who exactly they were.
Maybe all of these songs were actually connected. Maybe this was the direction he was actually going in and he wrote/recorded these songs in the same time period, but at least to me there's a clear connection that feels deliberate. I haven't articulated it the best because I haven't thought about it too much and most of what I wrote was just stuff that came into my head as I was writing.

 | Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Our oven went out yesterday for like 30 minutes and as usual, there’s always a family member that had to be a dickhead, but our dinner came out great. We had sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, cornbread dressing, mac n cheese, dinner yeast rolls, deviled eggs, turkey and ham. Then for dessert I made chocolate and regular pecan pie, pumpkin pie and buttermilk pie, along with orange salad (like ambrosia) and bourbon bread pudding which are not pictured. My husband and I are U.S. citizens, but he’s a former Chinese citizen with a family still in China. His Q2 visa is valid, and we need to visit his ailing grandmother as soon as possible. I don’t have a visa yet.
I could apply for a Q2 visa (family visit visa), but we can’t find our marriage license, and I’m unsure how long it would take to get a certified copy (we'd have to go physically request one due to our marriage date and we now live states away). On the other hand, I could apply for an L visa (tourist visa), valid for 10 years, and doesn’t require proof of plane tickets, hotel bookings, or other documents anymore.
I know the Q2 visa allows for visits up to 180 days, and the L is much shorter, which is fine. My main concern is that if I enter China with an L visa and my husband enters with his Q2 visa, could this cause any issues if something urgent happens while we’re there? Is there any downside to traveling with different visa types? Which option would be better (and faster) for our situation?

2024.11.29 21:56 azaleaofthesea I’ve posted this on r/endometriosis but I was curious if you guys had any experience with metformin, ozempic etc as a treatment for your endo?
I’m asking because I just not a good candidate for birth control/ hormonal medication. I also cannot take NSAIDs.
I’ve heard that they were great to minimize inflammation and could also prevent endometriosis from getting worse. (There’s a few studies out there mostly referencing metformin).
On endometriosis a few older posts were taking about it. Whenever I ask a question a few days ago most people reported bad side effects. But I’m a bit desperate so here I am posting again 😭 I’m very sorry.
I’ve noticed that people who tried ozempic and munjaro seemed to report better outcomes. Some where actually very satisfied.
Please let me know what you think or if you have tried it, how was your experience?
