"Continue" is one of a small number of verbs that cannot occur in the ing form when its complement is in the same form. The succession of two ing forms in "continuing developing" is not permitted by a rule called the 'doubl-ing constraint'. You need "to continue developing" or "continuing to develop"; either will do. – That said, the verb continue sometimes does and sometimes does not: He continued speaking after his lesson. He continued to speak after his lesson. The verbs start and begin can also take both. There is a technical difference in meaning but not a practical one. Do we use "continue to do" or "continue doing"? I made a google search and it seems to be the former but I am still unsure. Could you also make a sentence using "continue to do" or "continue doing"? The complement of with in this pattern will be some sort of undertaking which is instrumental in achieving a result or goal of some kind. The will continue version would be used in some kind of statement or speech from the forestry industry itself, emphasizing their commitment to maintain their competitiveness going forward. I'm a university student and for an entrepreneurship class, I decided to team up with another student. Fast forward around 2-3 months, I've been the one mainly doing research and the work while they haven't done any contribution to the project. In the class we have to work on a potential entrepreneurship venture. I'm interested in continuing this project after the class and semester ends, but by myself. We're still university students if that helps.
There's no official document/form or anything that was signed (just texts and emails in the beginning of the semester from me asking them if we'd like to work together). It's also just limited to this class and we also have no funding. Little coding progress has been done as well (I'm a novice). If I want to continue this project alone, could I just tell them that I'd like to continue it by myself? Or is there any future repercussions that I need to be aware of? How would I continue working alone?
I would appreciate your insights and responses. Thank you.

8 years ago I was diagnosed with T2. I corrected everything and had been doing fine for years. This past year has been a tough year with work, friends, started smoking again and switched to vaping, and really fell off my diet. My glucose numbers had got back up to 300 when I would wake up. I got them down to 250 when I'd wake up. My Doctor added another medication to my medication. Also, gave me medication to help me quit vaping. Which has been helping. Ive not vaped or smoked, or had a craving. My glucose is only down to 200 and one day 175 when I woke up. Also, I developed tendinitis in one arm, so i have an ant inflammatory added for that. Ive really been having trouble getting my glucose down again. I'd say ive not been feeling right. Doctor says it's because my glucose and A1C have been high and should improve. It's only been a couple of weeks, but my number just aren't coming down like they did when I was first diagnosed and went on my diet. Which has been concerning. Also feeling frustrated as part night for Thanksgiving I definitely over indulged, but felt setup for failure. Other than the turkey, there was not one low carb option for any of the sides. Not even the gravy. And, this is my own mother who knows that I need more carb options. Really frustrated now.
Has anyone else give through a relapse? How long did it take for you to get your glucose and A1C back under control? Did you have any side effects or symptoms? When no one else in your life takes your diabetes into consideration, do you just choose to not eat?
All advice and encouragement welcome.
