Guys so I got this orchid as a gift a few months back and everything was fine it even started growing a new leaf then all of a sudden a few weeks ago a leaf fell. Then another. Then another. There was nothing visibly wrong at the surface and I didn’t want to bother the plant by taking it out of its pot to see the roots since I did that in late August/early September to repot it. Now a week or 2 ago I noticed that the base of the stem was turning black. Is there any way to stop this? Is it too late? Here’s how I’ve been caring for it: watering when I notice the moss is dry/mostly dry throughout the pot. Fertilizer once a month.

I have a lot of narcissistic tendencies. I often seek validation from others using my academic success. I talk too much about myself and I'm very egotistical, which I suppose is amplified by my autism, but I belive it stem from a different set of influences.
I grow up as a typical "smart kid" I guess... I finished highschool when I was 15 and started studying mathematics at university when I was 16. Mathematics is my special interest.
I'm very self-centered, I don't have meaningful connections. I belive that narcissism is my defense mechanism for low self-esteem. I cope with my low self-worth with overcompensating by seeking admiration. I Build a grandiose self-image of myself to shield against feelings of inadequacy. I Deny or project insecurities onto others. I struggle with shame and feelings of worthlessness.
I have a strong humiliation and degradation fetish, which I guess is a way for me to transform the pain of shame into pleasure, which allows me to process emotions I otherwise suppress. since I construct a fragile and demanding self-image that requires constant maintenance. Submitting to humiliation provideds a psychological "release" from the exhausting need to uphold my persona.
I grew up in a difficult family situation with constant verbal abuse and no real parent figure.

Often when I am in certain areas I’ll have a good signal with 5g but internet doesn’t work. Disabling 5g and going to LTE seems to fix it. It seems like that’s a Verizon issue more than anything but why does it happen?

I’ve put quite a lot of my money into S&P 500, NASDAQ, Amazon, and some in an India FTSE tracker. Buffet building up his largest cash pile ever is making me nervous. Is this because he knows a crash is coming? I’ve heard he thinks the stock market is over valued and we’re in a bit of a bubble. There are other reasons of course to do with succession at Berkshire Hathaway and him wanting to give his replacement capital to work with etc. But is this a clear signal for me to also cash out?

The best example I've heard is the different between cats, lions, and tigers. They're also very closely related (I've heard 95% genetic similarity between tigers and cats), and lions and tigers are capable of breeding hybrids. On a microbial scale, most bacterial have one circular chromosome yet there's tons of variations. So this is just out of curiosity: are there any animals with the same number of chromosomes but incredibly different genotypes(greater phylogenetic distance than that of tiger-cat), and the inability to produce hybrid offspring? Is this something that could exist in theory but we've yet to see it in nature? Thank you, I am not a specialist in evolutionary biology
