2024.11.29 21:40 WeTodDidd Looking for a game where I can explore, loot, fight, kill, and progress in my own way, not glued to missions and storylines.
I like parts of different games and I'm hoping to find a game with at least some of those parts. If I can't find that then I'll probably end up playing modded Ark.
Ark, I like how I'm free to do what I want and how I want. There's a goal but no set way to achieve it. I can find my own way. This makes me think I'm looking for a survival game. Terraria feels the same as ark for me with achieving the goal in a way that I want to reach the goal. Free to choose how I want to get to the goal
The division 2 and dungeon defenders I like because the loot system. I love killing things or winning things to potentially get better loot and gear. New World also fits here but still the same problem for me. New World and the division 2 both have me glued to the story line and dungeon defenders is kinda the same, I completed the main campaign and I'm not sure what else I need to do.
I've also really been into midevial weaponry and combat but its not a requirement
I want a game where I am free to explore, loot, kill, fight, and progress in ways that I choose.

Hi guys, I'm hoping to find some new friends to play games with and talk to and really get along with. I'd love to just chat in call about whatever and just have a good time. I figured I'd use this opportunity to make some awesome long lasting friendships here on Reddit. Lemme tell you a bit about myself:
•I play my games on PC primarily (just ordered a steam deck so super stoked about that) but I also have a bunch of cross play games so we do have variety. I have a bunch of games we could play and recently I've been enjoying Helldivers 2, CS2, Destiny 2, Fortnite, Battlefield, OW2, Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout 76, Monster Hunter World and Rise and Apex. While those are the games I play often nowadays, I still have a bunch of others so I'm sure we could find something that both of us would enjoy.
•Have a fairly dark sense of humor and can really talk about anything. I enjoy messing around and saying some dumb stuff to make jokes and whatnot.
•Really enjoys calls and would appreciate someone who also feels the same way. Texters only are great too so don't feel shy!
•Down to talk about anything you want to. Having someone there to listen is really nice sometimes and I try to give people the opportunity to just be themselves.
•Enjoy listening to music and just relax to it. I have a Spotify playlist in case anyone would want to give it a listen and its mostly filled with synthwave and house and I think its pretty nice. Would love to hear what anyone would wanna recommend.

Hello,
I am currently waiting for surgery to remove a 4cm nodule from my thyroid - to be precise ins on the Isthmus.
The surgeon believes she can remove the nodule without having to take any of my thyroid out as the nodule is in the Isthmus (front of the thyroid).
For some background, I am a 33yo female. I first noticed a lump on my neck early this year. And dismissed it (stupidly thought it was nothing and maybe swollen and had a cold).
Then in August I noticed it was bigger, looked like I had an Adam’s Apple. Went to my GP and things progressed quickly. Had an ultrasound which showed two nodules, one 3.1cm and the other 1.5cm. Believed to be in my left lobe. The bigger one being graded a U3. Then I was booked in to have a biopsy.
This appointment was odd as I was in the room less than 5 minutes the doctor proceeded to tell me he’s an expert at looking at ultrasounds (sounded like a sales pitch) he’s looked at my previous ones he thinks it’s a U2 not a U3 so he was downgrading no need for biopsy and discharged me. The following week I had an appointment at the ENT clinic and the lady read my notes and then said she was going to discharge me. Whilst in the car leaving the hospital she called me to say she spoke to a colleague about me and that they decided as I was young they wanted to keep an eye on it and I wasn’t to be discharged but we will do another ultrasound in the new year to see if it’s got bigger.
I was told to look out for any changes to my voice swallowing or let them know if it’s bigger.
2 months passed and it’s noticeably bigger. I went back to the ENT and saw the top surgeon there. She took one look at me and said that’s bigger than 3cm’s (she reckons at least 4cm or bigger) and she had a feel and said she also thinks it’s not on the left lobe but on the Isthmus.
So to cut a long story short, what bothers me is that they have said it’s benign but in my research I have seen multiple stories saying they were told it was benign initially but then it was cancer. And of course I would have known if they did the biopsy.
Will they test it when they remove it?
The ultrasound showed it to have cystic and soft tissue elements.
My worry is something not being detected and then what if it’s spread etc.

Cat’s second eyelid is always visible, dark brown/red watery discharge occasionally from eye. Around the front of the eye also seems pink and possibly sore? The nose has become darker.
Going to book a vets appointment asap, but does anyone know what this could be?
He's coming up to 20 Y/O and to be honest, if it ends up being a serious issue I might just put him to sleep. He has dementia. Half of the time he doesn't know where he is. He's been peeing everywhere but outside and we are over feeding him to keep him at a healthy weight. I don't want him to be any more confused or struggling.
