Hi all! Sorry for the simple, potentially repetitive, question - I have done some of my own research, and I searched past posts and didn't see what I was looking for.
Basically, I had a cat sitter come to care for my cats and she got locked out of my back door. The fault is shared; she didn't take her keys, but I also forgot to tell her the back door locks automatically (because I didn't think she'd be going out the back). In trying to get back in, she broke the lock on my back door, and my landlord is making me contact a locksmith, set up repair, and pay for it.
I will pay to fix it, but the first locksmith I contacted quoted me 300 at the minimum (I suspect it would end up more like 500), and I've already poured so much money into cat-related things, so I'd love to at least know if I have any other options.
So the question: Does anyone have a locksmith they'd recommend who could potentially fix/replace this lock for a cheaper price?

I have a 4 year old shihtzu lhasa apso mix that has been having issues with itching and paw licking for years. We've taken him to the vet over the years and they've given him Cytopoint injection and Apoquel amongst other treatments. We even tried the vets recommendation of doing a prescription or specialty diet that we tried for a few months and still no changes. So ultimately our vet said they have exhausted all possible courses of treatment on their end and reccomended us to take our dog to a dermatologist. She reccomended the Animal Dermatology Clinic on 5610 Kearny Mesa Rd suite b-1, San Diego, CA 92111. I looked the clinic up online and they seem to have fairly good reviews. But upon calling to make an appointment for a consultation they don't have availability till Feb. 2025. For other pet parents who's pets may also have dermatolgical issues, are there any other clinics you would reccomend for us? I want to be able to have a few options before we book an appointment because it can be expensive. Thank you.

vocês já sentiram que realmente limparam o ouvido com um cotonete? eu não.
95% das vezes que eu quero um cotonete é pra coçar os ouvidos e não limpar, até pq toda vez que estão sujos, tudo que ele parece fazer é espalhar mais a sujeira e me deixar com nojo de cera.
O que realmente funciona é vc dar uma molhada bem superficial e dps passar o dedo embrulhado num papel várias vezes, ou dependendo se tiver meio umido só mete o papel higiênico e limpa direitinho.

Long time SQ flyer but finding it harder to get a good fare or points Redemption with them. Their manipulation of algorithms designed to push fliers into higher spend is brutal. Sure they are a great airline for service and I guess you pay for what you get but it was so much easier pre-Covid to get a good deal. And I don’t just mean cost. Upgrades via redemption is near impossible even with higher points.
They are number 1 today but I’m thinking their revenue focus is going to hurt them in the future.
