Hi, I am a beginner and want to get started based in Netherlands. I read that 80-20 split between these two is a good idea for beginner. I created an account with IBKR but I do not understand the costs. I put a 100 euro to try out in ishare MSCI core and got charged 1.25 euros that seemed to be fine but when I wanted to do Ishares MSCI emerging market but I see a regulatory and exchange fee of 28% under cost impact. Do I understand this right? This seem to be a huge amount. Which app or paltform do you all invest in? Thanks in advance

2024.11.29 21:50 Shoepra First hit boss will not spawn.
I’ve gone out and attempted this mission 5 times now. Wasted multiple hours. I go to the market, clear out the entire area, lots of regular enemies, check the big building first and 2nd floor. Sweep the rest of the market and surrounding area. No boss, so I walk away a few blocks and wait for respawns, come back and the regular enemies have reset but still no boss. I’m flying through ammo and heals killing all these enemies. Is there some trick to this or something?

Hi everyone,
So I have been very sick and that has prevented me from being able to fully focus and write the ET1 - I've had literal joint pain... I have a tight deadline for submitting the form and I wanted to check how I can submit an Amendment whilst ensuring it doesn't make me look bad or dishonest? The Amendment would be to add a few more incidents or clarify specific dates because currently I have written In 2023 or Early 2024.. since I cant expend much energy due to ill health, to research specific dates.

Watching old Emmerdale and Paddy just called Jimmy a dirty old man (which was true.) Over the past few months of episodes Jimmy has cheated on his wife. Hit on actual employees and tried to hit on a woman who thought she was there to be interviewed. Literally in one episode an employee was begging someone else to not be left alone with such a creep.
Today he was heartbroken over his nephews treatment of Belle. Chastising his dead brother for his abuse of women.
Say what you will about Emmerdale, it's lovely to see that they can turn around such scumbag behaviour and show that men can change and treat women with more respect. (Similar with Cain.)
I found Jimmy's realisation of being hoodwinked by Tom quite moving. It was unpleasant to see the character sucked into the lies, but that's quite realistic. Often abuse victims are the ones who get cut out not the abusers.

Tengo 17 , y suelo ser una persona con dependencia emocional, me encariño con personas hasta objetos materiales, tengo depresión y TOC (trastorno obsesivo compulsivo) , y eso me complica el salir, eh tenido innumerables ataques de pánico, ya solucione la dependencia hacia las personas, pero aun asi siempre senti un vacío , que no eh podido llenar con nada. Ya ni ver películas, series, anime, me ayudan porque siempre hay algo que me preocupa, aveces solo me la paso escuchando bandas de rock para despejar mi mente e imaginar que soy feliz.
Ya estoy medicada y voy con el psiquiatra pero las pastillas solo me hacen entrar en un sentimiento de que no me importa nada. Ser yo es difícil y se que otras personas lo pasan peor, espero que este mundo acabe pronto y que los mas pequeños ya no tengan que sufrir.
Soy una chica muy complicada e inestable por lo que suelo cansar a las personas.

Hi all! I have been in love with my skis for… well, 17 years and now it’s time to upgrade. I have been using Volke Attica Fuego and there hasn’t been a single day I didn’t love them. But today I finally felt like I no longer can trust my beloved skis and it was time to retire them.
I have been skiing for 36 years and would consider myself kind of an advanced skier. I enjoy racing on easier terrains and love carving. I live in the east coast and ski mainly in VT on usually icy terrains. 5’4” and 125lb. I would appreciate any recommendations!

 | This was just me spitballin the other night. I'd love to hear everyone's feedback and suggestions! First, my pitch: Mr. Negative's personality being a mix of Superman and Scarecrow (Arkham Knight version) Martin Li would embody the hope and optimism that Superman represents. When he inverts himself to negative he becomes a chilling presence with a very similar vibe to AK Scarecrow. Like bro would literally RADIATE compassion and optimism as Martin Li. Someone who sees the good in everyone just like superman. But then he equally appreciates the dark side of humanity. When he inverts he's straight up MENACING. Plus I'd imagine him being FULLY AWARE of his other persona. Now here's my idea for his origin story. ... Imagine he had a close friend who was basically a brother to him back in China. His friend really wants to do good but he needs to do evil things in order to survive. He has a tough life but he's very optimistic and genuinely a good person deep down. Both Martin Li and him are gangsters workin for the Triads. Li grows up HATING that he has to see his brother struggle everyday. Maybe he has some sort of disability or medical condition, physical or mental, so he's incredibly stressed and finds it insanely hard to just live. A character you can really empathize with cause he's gotta put in so much extra work just to live since he's also involved in organized crime while dealin with everything else... He's got hopes and dreams but at some point he just doesn't know if he can continue living anymore... Ye know that Superman quote - “Dreams save us. Dreams lift us up and transform us into something better. And on my soul, I swear that until my dream of a world where dignity, honor and justice are the reality we all share, I'll never stop fighting.”In the case of Martin Li's friend, imagine if his dreams just weren't enough to save him... I want this to be similar to GOTG vol 3 where they showed Rocket's origin with his friends (which had me crying ngl 😭) . One day his friend commits suicide cause he just couldn't deal with it anymore. From that moment on, the optimism and positivity gets passed on to Martin Li, and he makes a promise to himself. He vows that he'll embrace the dark so that he'll have the power to cultivate the light, the hope that his brother stood for. His brother who just didn't have the power to push through any further. Li then proceeds to use his powers to corrupt the people who are too weak to help themselves... which gives them the strength to continue. I'm thinkin Li was part of a Triad gang in China - a gang who did plenty of morally questionable things but were a tight-knit family who took care of each other and even tried to take care of their city... When he looks back on his memories with his best friends, he realizes that if they didn't have the strength to kill, or the strength to embrace their dark side, then they literally wouldn't be his friends. They wouldn't be the unique and complex individuals he saw them as. And he LOVED them cause they were all he had. He has love for both the dark and the light, because if there's an imbalance on one side, it reminds Li of his sorrow and how his brother wasn't even strong enough to LIVE 😭 And in his eyes, EVERY human being deserves the chance to live a good life, be happy, and achieve their dreams. This is why he becomes a philanthropist because he wants to help people. It's his way of dealing with grief.
