I learned German by myself for 4 years (before ditching it for new passions). I had no incentive, it was just a hobby. I tried every language on Duolingo before falling in love with German. However, during the course of those four years, and even now, I found myself having these little „Hyperfixtations“ with languages. For example, 1 week I would be obsessed with Swedish, only to completely forget about it later and lose interest. I told myself not too long ago that I wouldn’t try to learn a language UNLESS there was an incentive (lover, friend group speaking specific language, etc). Do these short bursts of obsession tie into my adhd/autism?

2024.11.29 22:31 precisepossum Surfans F20 - Skip/Change Bootloader?
I've set up a Surfans F20 (Micro-USB, v2.1 firmware) with a Hosted build of Rockbox. It's mostly great but I am wondering if it possible to:
- Skip the multi-boot bootloader interface which allows me to select Rockbox or HiBy install (or Tools). I'll likely never use the nasty stock (HiBy) software. Can I boot directly into Rockbox?
- Skip or remove the white 'Surfans, Trust your choice, be your own fans' splash screen that appears when turning on the player. The blinding white of it really bugs me as I'm usually using the player at night. I appreciate this is related to the firmware, not Rockbox, and is likely too close to the metal to modify.

 | Toyota wouldn't supply a longblock so we had to make one out of a shortblock. Gasket kits were B/O so we had to build our own overhaul kit. Over 150 lines, 500+ individual parts. Truck's engine bay is completely torn apart with engine components spewed everywhere. 2024.11.29 22:31 ProfitPast5913 Buying My First Ever Gaming PC! (AM5)
 | I'm SO EXCITED for these parts and cannot wait for them to arrive. I have saved up all year and waited till black friday on amazon so I could get good deals. I'm gonna be pairing this with an rtx 3060! I know 850W is overkill but I will eventually be upgrading my GPU in the future anyways and the corsair 850W costed only 10 more euros than the 750W version so I'd say it's a win-win situation. I was originally gonna go with an intel build as I knew nothing about AMD. But I decided to research about the sockets of an amd motherboard, the cpu's and etc. And oh my god, it's the best decision I've ever made as AM5 is still active while the LGA 1700 will only support up to 14th gen intel cpu's. Plus according to a few articles AMD is currently the top 1 CPU brand as they make better ones than intel ones currently. I made sure to get cl30 ram so I could get that extra bit of performance and yes, I know there isn't an NVME SSD as I had to remove it as my budget was too high. (My budget is 700 euros). I also heard that the msi mag b650 tomahawk wifi is a good mid range motherboard I think so I'm going with that. If you guys have got any tips, please feel free to tell me as I don't wanna screw up my pc parts and potentially miss out on something good. I'll post an update when my pc parts arrive and also when I build it! Hi, I'm looking at a used 2018 Edge right now and I'm hearing great things about the 2.0 Ecoboost engine. However I can't find much on the reliability of the transmission. The one I'm looking at is a 6 speed. Anyone know how reliable it is? Also should I go for a 6 or 8 speed? I believe they come in both.

2024.11.29 22:31 Hallf_Halldor Audio problems with Razer blackshark hyperspeed, or maybe it is my laptop.
The Bluetooth connection with the headset and the laptop works fine, but recently when I use the dongle or cable directly to the headset, the sound does not work, the mike works but I can't hear anything, the headset set shows up and increase or decrease the volume but I do not hear anything. I have all new headset and dongle firmware updated. I think this is weird and want to know if someone has experienced this or have a solution?

Poate unii dintre voi au nevoie sa auda asta, daca vor sa renunte la votul de duminca ca nu vor sa plece la drum. Am luat si eu in considerare optiunea asta, spunandu-mi ca nu conteaza un singur vot si nu merita sa fac drumul asta. Dar acasa, in orasul de resedinta, ma asteapta ai mei cu inimile deschise sa votam impreuna si sa fim unii langa ceilalti in momentele astea tulburi si inspaimantatoare. Avem nevoie unul de celalalt, este un moment decisiv pentru viitorul nostru. Fiecare vot conteaza! Deci daca cineva avea nevoie de un semn sa porneasca la drum pentru un "singur" vot, asta este semnul pe care il cautati! Haideti sa le dam fatala coruptilor!
