Hello guys. I bought a Seagate 16TB HDD from ebay, it's a recertified HDD from Seagate. But it's not working, it makes a sound and the PC doesn´t boot if the HDD is pluged. The issue is that I am in another country, so I have two options: 1- Pay the shipping from my country to USA to recieve a full refund, or 2- Request an RMA in Seagate Web page (hdd warranty is covered until 08-2026). But i'm not sure if Seagate covers the shipping cost (I'm in Costa Rica). What would you do?

I have recently switched to Opera so I can have a browser that I can leave in the background of games. I wanted to know how much better Opera was compared to Chrome in performance. I set chrome to Opera's website and limited Opera's RAM to 1G (min) and CPU usage to 0%. Amazingly, task manager consistently showed that Opera used 2x more RAM and 1.5x more CPU, even when the Opera tab was unactive. Chrome appears to still have a lead, on my hardware. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I returned an under warranty micro SD card purchased from Amazon. At first, customer service was great. They emailed me promptly to let me know my ticket was accepted. The sent me a shipping label. I dropped off my item. They received it a few days later and texted AND emailed me to tell me my faulty micro SD card had been received.
Then, I started getting phone calls from “Olivia”. She called me three times to let me know they were “working on” my return. I spoke with her once. The last call was at 7 in the morning telling me I would be receiving my ecoupon for $60 to cover the cost of my micro sd card.
After that, it went to shit. I waited 5 (they had told me 1-5 business days) days and nothing happened. So I called in. I was told by a VERY angry employee that I had to wait longer. He mentioned there was a return and exchanges department. I asked to be transferred to them. He told me he couldn’t do that. That obviously isn’t true but I asked how long I would have to wait for my ecoupon. I was 3-5 business days.
So I waited another 5 business days. Big mistake. Apparently Samsung doesn’t care about closing tickets, or they have no system in place to alert them if a ticket has been hanging around too long, because mine fell through the cracks.
I called Samsung and they have an option to “speak to a representative by text”. Sounds good, there’s 25 people ahead of me.
So I chose that. Immediately they tell me they are the laundry department and can’t help me. So I asked (by text) to be connected to the memory department. No can do! They gave me an unworking phone number and told me to call 1800SAMSUNG. But get this: that’s who I was texting! I never knew you could TEXT a 1800 number, but I was and have screenshots. They also mentioned a “live help” website. For the memory department. Somehow it creates a completely new ticket apart from my RMA. I created one, it’s been 6 days and no response.
So today I decided to call back one more time. I had 22 people ahead of me, and chose to talk to someone via text. I was connected to the laundry department, again. But, they didn’t end the chat!
I called back, while still texting them. Now 25 people ahead of me. I waited for 30 minutes, with full reception where I live, and someone picked up and hung up. I called back, same thing happened. 3 times. The text chat turned out to be an AI.
Samsung, if you read this, you owe me, according to your warranty, $50 or a replacement micro SD card. I will be posting this along with my text logs and phone calls logs on the better business bureau if it is not resolved.

2024.11.29 22:32 RBrim08 [Spoilers up to Chapter 2's conclusion.] I'm beginning to dislike this game.
And my main reason why is because every chapter ends in an unsatisfactory way with a Deus Ex Machina on how Yuma gets out of every situation he's in.
Chapter 0, the Peacekeepers can just arrest Yuma and charge him for the murders. But then Yakou shows up and is all "I can make it so you have less paperwork" and the Peacekeepers just agree for whatever reason.
In Chapter 1, the Peacekeepers have no real reason to not arrest everyone for interfering with the Nail Man Case. But them Yomi shows up for some reason to throw Seth under the bus and lets everyone go. Again, for no reason, they could have just arrested them and been done with it.
In Chapter 2, there's still no reason for Martina to not execute Yuma and Desuhiko for not only interfering with an investigation but also impersonating a Peacekeeper. But she just lets them go afterwards for no reason.
Overall, each chapter has ended in such a unsatisfactory way, unlike the Danganronpa games. At lest in Danganronpa, you can be satisfied in the fact that you found the culprit and everyone else can live on. But in this game, the only reason why you get to keep going is because the villains just keep letting you get away with shit. For being a corrupt super corporation, they're doing a bad job of actually being villainous to their main conflict.
