I love En Passant by Frederic Malle. Olivia Giacobetti is a perfume genius. When I was in Sephora the other day, I sprayed Wild Bluebell by Jo Malone on a tester stick. It was lovely! But I’m worried it’ll smell too similar to En Passant (watery floral) when it’s on my skin. I’ve seen people comment that it smells like watermelon on them, and En Passant smells a bit like cucumber on me—these are similar smells.
Anyone with experience know if they smell too similar to justify owning both? Thanks!

Hi, on Nov LSAT scored 168, but will be retaking in Jan (to have a shot at UBC, I know my chances are weak, would I be competitive if I could get near a 175 on the January retake?)

Hi everyone! So, my fiance (33m) and I (30f) have been dating for almost 2 years. You know when you just know it's right?? It's that. He feels like comfy slippers and I love him so much. Well, last week he popped the question whilst we were on holiday. Apparently he's been planning it for 6 months!! I of course said yes, and I'd never been happier. That is until we got back to England and his dad didn't even mention it. Fiancé had told me how he'd told his dad prior and his dad hadn't been overly happy about it then, and when it actually happened his dad didn't even say a thing about it. It really upset me, like he doesn't like me or think I'm good enough. My fiancé's mum died when he was young so I know his dad probably carries a lot of trauma about marriage, but we didn't even get a congratulations and his dad focused solely on his dog - he does this a lot and sometimes it feels like his dad chooses his dog over his actual son. It wouldn't bug me as much if my own parents hadn't cried when fiancé asked for their blessing, and when we told them they called us on holiday (accruing charges no doubt) to get all the details, and then demanded another play by play when we got home. Fiancé's dad has never met my parents because the time we set up for them to meet was cancelled because of aforementioned dog. It's very frustrating and it upsets me how much it is upsetting my fiance. His dad is the only parent he has alive and it breaks my heart that he isn't happy for his only son.
In a slightly less dramatic sense, my own aunts and uncles haven't said anything to us either. I know a proposal isn't as important to anyone else, but I'm the second youngest in the extended family and it pains me that my aunts and uncles (who I thought I was quite close to) haven't even reached out to say congrstulations. They've met my fiance too, but not so much of even a like on the Facebook post.
Am I the a-hole for not wanting to invite them to the wedding because of this?? I'm really worried this whole thing with my fiancé's dad is going to mean he doesn't even attend the wedding or makes an excuse (to do with the dog) to leave early. I guess I'm just looking for recognition that I'm not going mad for this eating me up so much?
