2024.11.29 22:32 RBrim08 [Spoilers up to Chapter 2's conclusion.] I'm beginning to dislike this game.
And my main reason why is because every chapter ends in an unsatisfactory way with a Deus Ex Machina on how Yuma gets out of every situation he's in.
Chapter 0, the Peacekeepers can just arrest Yuma and charge him for the murders. But then Yakou shows up and is all "I can make it so you have less paperwork" and the Peacekeepers just agree for whatever reason.
In Chapter 1, the Peacekeepers have no real reason to not arrest everyone for interfering with the Nail Man Case. But them Yomi shows up for some reason to throw Seth under the bus and lets everyone go. Again, for no reason, they could have just arrested them and been done with it.
In Chapter 2, there's still no reason for Martina to not execute Yuma and Desuhiko for not only interfering with an investigation but also impersonating a Peacekeeper. But she just lets them go afterwards for no reason.
Overall, each chapter has ended in such a unsatisfactory way, unlike the Danganronpa games. At lest in Danganronpa, you can be satisfied in the fact that you found the culprit and everyone else can live on. But in this game, the only reason why you get to keep going is because the villains just keep letting you get away with shit. For being a corrupt super corporation, they're doing a bad job of actually being villainous to their main conflict.

I figure today might be a good day to get a new air purifier or two for my 1-bed apartment. I've heard good things about Winix models at Costco like this one which comes with 2 years of filters, and this model is Wirecutter's top pick. But then I saw SMUD has these air purifiers. Has anyone tried one of those?
I'm thinking about getting a bigger one for the living room and then a smaller one for the bedroom that's relatively quiet with lights that turn off. Any tips at all (for any store/brand) would be appreciated!

I have created my hub site and sub site. My sub site is currently feeding its news on the main page of my hub site.
We have news which gets sent every week to all employees by Outlook. When the weekly news is sent from outlook, how can the email generate a SharePoint news posts on my subsite.
I tried working with power automate using (when an email arrives (v3) and get an email (v3) but it does not allow me to extract the body of the email, just the subject.
Has anyone delt with this before? Thanks!

Well, Thanksgiving morning rolled around of course, and despite my fiancée’s promises the night before that we would carry on with our original plans to go to my family’s Thanksgiving - he sheepishly tells me he wants to go to his mom’s now. I very angrily told him he could not do this to me just because his mother was upset, we only went back and forth a little bit before he begrudgingly agreed with me. He added at the end of our argument “I just don’t get how it was decided that your family gets priority over mine…” This absolutely made my eye twitch as this was not a matter of prioritizing one family over the other, this was an issue caused by MIL waiting til a few days before the holiday to decide on the time of her dinner and scheduling it for the exact same time as my family’s. Not to mention MIL gets the prime time slots with us and a sleepover on Christmas/Christmas Eve 🫠
We headed out to my sister’s though, and as I mentioned in my previous post it is a 2 hour drive. An hour into driving, we drive through construction zone and one of our tire completely explodes/blows out. It was quite scary as we were on the highway and the car started fishtailing a bit. Thankfully my parents were on their way in their car not too far behind us and helped us put on our spare. My parents really urged us not to continue our drive as the spare was practically a bicycle tire not meant to go on a 3 hour total road trip. They didn’t have any room in their car to take us the rest of the way either. So, we head back to our area and go to MIL’s Thanksgiving as she is quite close to where we live. In a cruel twist of fate, she got the Thanksgiving she mostly wanted 😅
I waited til after my fiancée and I got home to really let him know how upset I was by his general attitude towards me about the whole scheduling conflict. After I laid out all the facts and my perspective, he profusely apologized and admitted that his mother’s tears and hearing about how she feels like her core family is dwindling and changing really swayed him and fogged his judgement. At the end it was like an “a-ha” moment for him when he said it was on his mom for playing weird games and waiting til the last minute to choose a time and acting so upset when she could have just set the time to evening/dinner rather.
Anyway, here’s hoping that the rest of the holiday season goes a little more smoothly 😅
