Guys I have this reoccurring dream where my boyfriend/babydad gets out of jail and cheats on me . Hi All,
I just wanted to give some insight about my bad experience at the University of Vienna. This was with the SPL5 Informatik faculty and professors. For context, I was a foreign student, studying Master's in Informatik/Computer Science. I do not study there anymore. This happened in 2022
As my bachelor's from my home country's university was not fully recognized to be equivalent for the admissions, I needed to take 3 extra bachelor's courses in addition to my Master's courses. The problem was that the bachelor's courses were mostly in German, which I did not speak, and I actually did do similasame courses during my bachelor's. To note, the Master's itself can be fully completed in English, just not the bachelor's courses.
Knowing this, I was asking the SPL5 (Faculty of Computer Science) for many months and semesters if I can actually get these courses waived if I could prove that I took similar bachelor's courses in my home country. This process was long and tedious as the department can be very slow. In the end, it was not worth it, and left me in utter disgust of some of the professors there. Below my description of what happened that I wrote in a email originally to the student union.
I recently had a conversation with the Head of the SPL5 (regarding course recognition). The conversation made me feel extremely uncomfortable and even scared. The head of the SPL5 was extremely aggressive and rude towards me because of the frequent emails and contact I have had with the SPL. I assume he was annoyed over the fact that I have contacted them regarding course recognition for over 2 semesters now. Immediately after I started the call, he warns me that if I pursue my course recognition any further, he will just make me take all the exams/courses instead of recognizing 1 out of the 3. I felt very threatened, as he had pretty much forced me to back off; otherwise, I would have to take all the exams/courses. Additionally, as I was asking for a reasoning to why one of the courses will not be recognized (since a professor in the SPL previously told me it will be recognized, and I was confused, as I mentioned in my previous email), he told me these exact words: "If you are not satisfied with the University, you can just go somewhere else." I have never heard anything so rude and demeaning from a professor at any university. Also, since I am a foreigner (American), and the professor probably knew since I spoke English and not German to him, I felt personally attacked from these words. It felt like a "go back home to your country if you are not happy". It honestly disgusted me that a professor at the University of Vienna, where there are many foreign students and professors, could say these words to anyone, especially towards a student. In the end, he ended the phone call while I was still talking to him explaining him my situation a bit clearer.
Please do not report this or anything as I do not want to be in any more of a bad term with the SPL5. Also, I am scared that I will have to take all courses/exams now, instead of two of the three, if the SPL5 were to find out that I spoke about this.
I just would like to ask for advice regarding this. Was there an organization for reporting things like this at the University of Vienna, where students could report this anonymously?
I did not really want to mention this, nor do I want to fully report it (if students can even do this), as I do not want to be in bad terms with the SPL5. I just figured I should say something about this, since I feel pretty disgusted by the professor's words, and I do not want others to go through something like this. Once again, please do not report this or anything; I just would like to have some advice regarding this. I thought I would ask Uni Wien's ÖH since I do not know who else to contact
Being told "If you are not satisfied with the University, you can just go somewhere else" I believe is the worst thing ever a professor could say to their student. Yet alone a one that is a foreigner. This professor still works there with the same position on the SPL5. In my home country, if a professor said this, he will probably not teach ever again at the same university.

I need your help to know if I am being unreasonable and insecure/possessive here. The answer to this will help me determine the next steps. If it is unreasonable, I do not want to scare my gf unnecessarily or make her not participate in something because she feels I am uncomfortable.
I (28M) have been with my girlfriend Lucy (F23) for 1.5 years. The first 8 months we lived in the same city. I had to move; we have been doing long distance since May. She is wonderful. We talk a lot and are open with each other. I am sure of her love.
At work she met Ian (M39). They are both freelancers and Ian connected her with a job. Some weeks ago, Ian invited Lucy to watch a movie with his friends and colleagues, as they work in a big TV company and Ian would like to introduce them to her. She told me immediately, and I think it was perfectly fine. They are also in the cinema/tv production, so it is normal activity. I met Ian and he seemed nice. He knows I am Lucy’s BF.
Lucy invited John (M21) to come to the movie with Ian and the group. I also know him, he is a friend that is into movies. I am not in town. A couple days ago Lucy told me Ian may not come, he was busy.
3 days ago I was talking with Lucy and asked if Ian was going in the end, she said yes. He told her that the real reason he did not want to go at first was that he does not like John, who he has met at work. He said “I do not feel like spending time with relationships that do not fulfill me”. Lucy told him to come anyways, and that after the movie they could split and not be with John, do their thing. Apparently, they will go to dinner at a Japanese restaurant. The friends that were going to be introduced were not mentioned anymore. Ian told Lucy that he was going to talk to her about another work opportunity that day.
My evaluation. Ian invited Lucy to meet his friends that are in the same field. But then when she brings John he does not want to come. I think the justification is bs, it is a group activity, the interaction with this person is very limited, the rest are close friends.
If Ian is not coming, he is not talking about the work opportunity nor presenting the friends? Wasn’t that the point? And he ditches HIS OWN FRIENDS? For one person in a whole group he does not like (but does not have a big problem with) he leaves the whole activity with his friends?
Then about splitting with the group. They leave together, something I think is very much a couples dynamic. If the purpose was to get acquainted with the friends and build rapport, shouldn’t they have dinner all together? You cannot really get acquainted in a movie. Side note: sushi place sounds super high effort and expensive for a chill chat. And if the job proposal must be done in person, why not a coffee in the afternoon? What about Ian friends? It is originally a “Ian and friends” activity that Lucy is invited to tag along. But then Ian ditches his original plan to do something with Lucy only?
To me it looks like Ian wants a date without acknowledging it. A sneaky date. Ian previous relationship was with a F26 coworker.
Am I being insecure or unreasonable? How should I approach the conversation with Lucy? If I am not crazy, then I want to know how to convey it to her so she understands. She loves me, so she would not go if I ask to, but I want her to understand why it is not the best idea to put herself in these situations, so they do not repeat in the future. I do not want to be policing, just discuss some base lines. I do not believe Lucy would do anything or even like the guy. But I feel uneasy. Please give me your honest perspective. Lucy is coming soon to my city for many weeks and is extremely eager, as am I, so again, I do not believe there is anything between them.

Hello all,
Just wanted to ask if anyone owns the EVO variant of the ASUS Dual 4070S gpu? I recently purchased one at Best Buy for $600. Did not realize at the time of purchase that it was an EVO variant and I haven't been able to find many reviews or comparisons on it.
I am still piecing together a new PC, but was unsure on this card after purchase, as my original intention was to go for the MSI 3X Ventus, but it was unavailable in store at the time. Since the MSI is now available, I was considering exchanging the Dual EVO.
