For context i moved 3 years ago to The town that i currently live in. For 2 years i was popular and bullied Back and forth, and this still goes on in middle school. There is The Girl that hangs out with popular people, which dont like me too much i dont know why. 2 of her close friends are in My class and one of them is neutral and The other doesnt really like me because they are friends with people who have hatred towards me. The Girl isnt really friends with me and we are in 1 same class. We have never even spoken to each other so im really desperate trying to find ways to go forward. There are some issues because she doesnt know me too well, maybe by name. Her friends are not too Big fans of me If you get what i mean. I am slowly accepting that i cant get her But If you have some advice, im open to hear them.

2024.11.29 22:50 blackaqualad Anyone know a nitrogen fixing tree native to southeast Virginia?
I'm working on a design around two peach trees. I have sandy clay soil type and I'm looking to improve the soil quality by adding a nitrogen fixer along with amendments like worm castings and cover cropping. I have a lot of space to work with plus I've wanted to add a tree to the backyard anyway. I planted the trees two years ago and have seen a few flowers early in spring but to significant growth in size. The trees are a few feet away from my garden which attracts A LOT of pollinators over the spring and summer. My goals are to nurture the trees long enough to bare fruit.
I'm open to any suggestion generally too so please give pointers.

I have a barely ~2 months old daughter with my fiance. We're a lovely little family with a dog, a house we chose together. Me and my partner have a strong, loving relationship and great communication. He's a great father and the best human I've ever met.
I'm currently a correspondence student at a university, I'm also taking a 1,5 year long accountant course in the meantime while having a part-time job, working from home a couple hours daily. I stay at home and take care of our daughter full time. My partner's workhours vary as he's an entrepreneur. When he's home we make a team and mostly work on the house, continuing the renovation process.
We've found ourselves in a position where we don't really have any family left to rely on - we're trying to/we have gone go no-contact with both of our parents' since some drastic events took place - and, especially I, reached a point where I don't have any friends/social circle left.
If I'm not with my partner then I'm alone. If my partner doesn't text me, noone does (or if so, then they probably shouldn't have). I have noone else to share anything with - not a meme, not a story, or anything I'm excited about like my lovely daughter, the dog we adopted or how I'm feeling - anything.
I often find myself feeling lonely and sad. I don't have the chance to do what I love (because of the loss of my family and the position it put me in, my career abruptly ended and I'm not sure if I can get back on track ever) I don't have the chance to meet new people and I don't have the capacity right now to form a friendship from nothing.
If my partner had a long day and he doesn't want to talk just watch a movie in silence then I don't have anyone to talk to that day.
I'm trying to fill in the gaps by exercise - however it turns out my abdominal muscles are separated, so I needed to stop - and learning some basic German via Duolingo or scroll mindlessly, trying to read something fun or find interesting facts online but I can't avoid my thoughts all the time. I'm starting to lose motivation too.
I'm still actively hurt and caught up in the mids of all the drama and unfair treatment of our families, I'm full of grief, I often feel empty and purposeless even though I'm very much in love with my wonderful partner and amazing daughter.
I'm not sure how to keep my mental health balanced and my productivity up. I don't have the opportunity to integrate either new people or new hobbies in my life, I'm unable to leave our home on my own and I'm under more pressure than I can handle - meaning mostly the personal conflicts and sh*tstorms from everywhere.
My partner spends a lot of time with me/with us, but I can't make him responsible for my happiness.
What can I make of this?

Our 6 yo Corgi had surgery on Tuesday for some pretty serious bladder stones but is on the mend. We were told she would need to eat prescription food for the rest of her life, which we are fine with, but didn’t receive a lot of information on what else she can have treat/chew wise. Can she still have the all natural peanut butteyogurt/pumpkin on her lick mat? Can she have treats she gets in her bark box? Can she have dental sticks/chews? Should we avoid all of that, if so, what can she have? We never want her to experience what she went through again but we are not sure of what to avoid or what she can have outside of the prescription food. Thank you for any guidance!
