I have various old microSD cards lying around, but before I start on this project - all I can find anywhere I've searched is "don't use bigger than a 32GB" because apparently the unit has trouble reading those (just got the newer+larger 5" touchscreen if that matters).
What about anyone that's set up the Xtouch project - does it need a large card or can I get away with a 4GB (I have quite a few of these lying around)? If not - can anyone check and see how much space is really necessary?

2024.11.29 22:49 tiredcalmandbored Anybody else feel bitter when they see other trans people able to come out and start transitioning?
For context, I've known that I've been trans for seven years now and have been closeted this entire time.
Every time I see another trans person come out and be able to start transitioning quickly and be open about their identity, I can't help but feeling deeply envious. I know it's selfish and unfair, and I'd never openly mention it because it would be shitty to say. But I can't help but feel bitter about seeing people be able to live their lives as who they really are so quickly after their introspection, while I'm going on my eight year of being closeted with no end in sight. I have no option to transition currently as I'm a disabled adult with no personal income and relies on my transphobic and abusive parents as caretakers.
It's miserable, I feel miserable and bitter that other people are able to experience what I want to and have that control over their lives and identity. I wish it was me.

In The Big Bang Theory, both Stuart and Raj had relatively low-key roles compared to the main cast, but I personally feel that Stuart (played by Kevin Sussman) stood out more. His awkwardness, dry humor, and the way he brought depth to the character—even in smaller moments—really worked for me. Whether it was his struggles as a comic book store owner or his sad yet hilariously relatable interactions with the group, Stuart added something unique to the show.
Raj (played by Kunal Nayyar), while having more screen time, often seemed stuck in repetitive storylines, like his inability to talk to women and his overreliance on alcohol for confidence. Although Kunal Nayyar did a great job with the material, I feel Stuart had more moments of authenticity and emotional range.
What do you think? Between Stuart and Raj, who gave the better performance despite their limited roles? What moments of theirs stood out to you?

Might be just me but everytime theres the event "drop off" where people quit after finishing the battlepass, the game feels insanely boring. People dont engage fights, its all meta guns and rats. I might be exaggerating but i feel like those long hide and seek games just drain my soul. Also the fact that everyone who has a mouse and keyboard is a 6 star might be a factor too.
I used to enjoy hunt so much to the point i banged all my pc time into it. But now i start a match, get to bounty and here we go again, the most patient rat wins.
The only thing keeping me in game now is the bounty clash, which is awesome and compensates atleast a little bit for the insane lack of any action in normal bounty hunt. I feel like this might be the source of the massive active player dropoff, not the release of some dumb dlcs...
Anyone feeling the same ?

It has recently introduced a number of new libraries for a variety of purposes, from data processing to gene sequencing to vector databases. This is an insane compounding growth driver. And the numbers on this many sales are eye watering for their software busienss alone. Their software business from sales made this year and next year, will be over 12B. To put that into perspective, DDOG's full year revenue was less than $3b in 2023 Crowdstrikes is also $3B Even ServiceNow's is $9B. Infact, $12B in recurring revnue from software will put NVDAs software business as like the 13th biggest software company in the world. And its a god damn semiconductor company. That's insane to think, surely. This has a few big effects;

So as you see, IMO most of the comments that NVDA is wildly overvalued are clearly overlooking PIVOTAL areas of the NVDA business, that are probably misunderstood and under appreciating.
