i’m 16f and in 11th grade. i started at a new school going full time, i haven’t done that in a while. i’m also a pretty in demand babysitter in my area and i work a few gigs every week. my older brother just moved back in with us as well. all of these things have been stressing me out so badly, and making my anxiety so much worse. i don’t understand what it is. i can’t bare to look men in the eyes, walk in front of them, or speak to them for very long. it’s even my older brother that affects me. i don’t even understand why. i get so much anxiety, and it’s almost like a little voice inside me is convincing me that i’m trying to seduce them, or that i look like i am. sometimes my mind plays awful and gruesome sexual scenes with them and i try so hard to get them out of my mind but it’s like i can’t control it. i don’t feel this way towards any of these men and it brings me so much shame. i avoid eye contact and any communication with teachers, the fathers of the children i babysit, my friend’s dads, and my older brothers. i don’t know why this happens and i just want to be stress free. how do i even talk about this? to who? what do i do?
