2024.11.29 23:40 Scared-Resort-8917 Tampon Companies Are LIARS When They Say They Don't Affect Period Pain
I (19F) have had periods since I was 7 years old. So one could say I'm very experienced with period pain and many of the options of how to manage the amount of blood that comes out of me every 35-55 days (I have to mention I have PCOS so I have very irregular cycle lengths).
All that to say, TAMPON COMPANIES ARE LIARS when they say their products have nothing to do with your increased period pains. Like, with my PCOS, my cramps are already hell when my period finally does show up, but Lord forbid I use something like Tampax because then I'm immobile. Like I've noticed it with a lot of major tampon companies, especially the ones that people have come out to say their products have lead in them.
So I did an experiment over the course of 2 of my menstrual cycles using a mainstream tampon brand (Tampax) and a tampon brand that claims to be 100% cotton and plant derived (HoneyPot). The cycle in which I used Tampax made me wish that I had a hysterectomy. I was irritatable, in the worst pain, and it was almost like my legs wanted to separate from my butt. It was literally horrendous. But my second cycle was much more pleasant. I could sleep without waking up in the middle of the night being uncomfortable.
This is not an advertisement or anything, more of a rant because I'm annoyed with the way that tampon companies are just okay with lying to their consumer base about their side effects rather than changing their products to accommodate our bodies. But do with this information what you will. Thanks for reading all of this if you did. :)
TL;DR: Tampon companies lie about how their products correlate to the increase in typical period pains. I did an experiment between two brands and yada yada.

The past few years Iāve seen a lot of balayage and ālived inā blonde but now Iām seeing more and more people (both online and in real life) with dark hair. Is everyone just sick of having processed and damaged hair?
I naturally have dark brown hair and have had a balayage for as long as I can remember. I switched back to dark today and feel like I donāt recognize myself in the mirror š

So I've swapped over to vyvanse and it's working like a charm (thank every god š) but I've got a few bits and pieces of the ritalin short and LA left from the experimental phases of my dx - I'm in Vic and I was wondering about the legality of holding onto those "for emergencies" but I could only find legislation about prescribing? Not possession š¤ it has all been properly prescribed to me but idk if the "schedule 8" rules mean I have to dispose of it all now that I'm currently "only" prescribed the vyvanse...
Not like I predict someone raiding my drug drawer anytime soon but I have been wondering. I don't particularly want to dispose of them considering I fckn paid for em all but. I also don't wanna put my current prescription at risk for like "restricted drug hoarding" or whatever š¹š¹

Nov. 26 I was on step 3 of the VA process. I checked this morning. I was on step 5 after my VA therapy appointment. I checked this evening. I'm on step 6. I have done my CMP exams and sent in extra evidence on my behalf, I filed in June 4th 2024. I'm really hoping this decision goes my way because it can change my life. My question is how long once you hit stage 6 does it take?

I went to college with this girl I had a crush on. She seemed very kind and was extremely beautiful so I was just mesmerized by her but she barely knows who I was. We only followed each other on instagram and only had brief interactions since we were a few friend groups apart. Also never knew her last name until they announced her during graduation since her ig doesnāt have her full name. However when I knew I was going to see her at a party or elsewhere I would always look forward to it but just never had the moment to truly talk. I just wanted to dm her so bad or her to message me and hang out but I knew she was going through a breakup and I would just be a blip on her radar and anyways itās senior year in college so we are going back to different hometowns.
Now I realized that she emailed me three years ago when I didnāt even know who she was. We were suppose to be in a group project together sophomore year but I dropped the class. She didnāt know I dropped the class so she emailed me concerned if I was ok or going through something and filled me in on the project since she didnāt know I dropped the class. She even dropped her phone number! I replied back āno worries I dropped the classā and that was that
I donāt know, but I need to ask the manifestation experts on what the f was that because my college was big, over 25,000 students and I never got an email like that in high school or college where a random student emails me concerned about how I was doing and dropping a phone number too. Didnāt even know I was in a group project since I dropped the class lol! To have that someone be the person I would be thinking about for the remainder of college and not even know it, is just eating at me right now. I try to stay in reality and focus on what I can control but thereās gotta be some energy or force that is messing with me.

I personally gotten help from local FB groups and a godsend šš» lender iāve known for a while now he runs on telegram āfixmyfunds237ā is his tag ( just putting out options ) and about Facebook Have you tried that? All you would have to do is put your area and put the words mutual aid in with it and search it up. Yes, this is on Facebook so it would mean that people might see that you're posting, but it's far more likely you'll get help there or telegram then in this specific sub. And sometimes I believe that more people on this sub get a loan than you might think, it's just that almost no (legit) lenders want to expose themselves to hundreds of pmās and dozens of scammers by doing anything else than directly messaging the ones in need.
