So I’ve always heard that if you say a slur over text or in recording that a person could send it to a college and your chances of a top school are over. Is this true? How would colleges verify the credibility of the video? What if it was Ai? Or what if someone posted a supposed video of you saying something inappropriate on instagram? Do you guys know anything about this? I’ve only heard one case where a girl recorded herself saying the n word and a peer posted it a few years later to which she lost her scholarship. I know that if someone were to report you for saying a slur to the school it could go on your record and that could ruin your chances. But what about if they emailed it to a college?

2024.11.29 23:50 Stikflik Is the RTX 4070 Ti the most cost effective higher-end 16GB DLSS GPU?
I’m trying to narrow down what GPU to pick up that will reliably last me 5 years. I use a 1440p monitor. The 4070 super is great, except for the fact that it’s only got 12 VRam. The RX 7900 GRE is great, but I’ve heard it performs worse than the 4070 super, especially regarding. So, that leaves the 4070 Ti, which has both 16GB and DLSS. Is this the best of both worlds, or is it a waste of money?

Im a man, autistic, ADHD, etc. My Russian female senior colleauge was assigned to train me on the instrument. Acted like my boss, then slandered me and gave false impressions to my actual boss for months. A medical accommodation request on my part started a shitstorm of chaos. Colleauge who trained me then sabotaged me, blatantly, thinking I wouldn't stand up for myself. I did. I have been gathering clear proof. Boss is desperately covering, imventing theories involving my negligence. I am either gonna get fired (I won't quit), or continue on in this role because they know they can't fire me. I've done nothing wrong. Maybe this can end ok, but my career is toast. Management wasn't to " let bygones be bygones " There is an internal EEO investigation and an ethics investigation ongoing. I have started the process of filing a charge with the EEOC.
Can't seem to get a lawyer until they fire me. Not sure they will. Regardless I can't work here anymore. What the fuck do I do? I feel like speaking up about clear misconduct has spoiled the entire well. What the fuck? I haven't told anyone bsides the parties involved. My reputation is dictated by this psychopath and they want to let her get away with it. Im so disillusioned right now I don't know how I can ever trust in the world or science anymore.

 | Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I got the teddy bear dangle charm (first image). I noticed a small dent in its face and a scratch on is back. You can’t see them in the picture. I replaced it in store for another one (second image). It seemed fine in there but the lights are so bright it makes everything look perfect and shiny. Now that I have this one home it seems like the whole surface of the bear has lots of tiny scratches - like what you’d see in silver that’s been worn a while. It also looks cloudier than the first charm and it doesn’t pop as much. I cleaned it with some warm water and soap but it didn’t help. I’m not sure if I’m being too picky, but I feel like the charms should be perfect to justify how expensive they are. I don’t want to replace it again so if I decide to return it I probably won’t get another. It’s just disappointing as I’ve only started adding to this bracelet. Currently taking Suboxone 4mg morning. If I take Suboxone in the morning 1 1/2 - 2 OPMS black get me where I want to be. If I took it the next morning instead of my Suboxone dose one would be enough
