About Me
Hi, I’m Jacob, a 33-year-old Hispanic guy from Rosenberg, Texas. Born and raised here, I’m proud to call Texas home. I’m 5’10” with dark hair and dark eyes. I’m on a weight loss journey and have lost over 115 pounds so far, currently weighing 204 pounds, and getting closer to my goal weight every day. I’m naturally more of an introvert and a homebody, but I’m open to trying new things and enjoy pushing myself to grow. I have a steady job that I enjoy, and I’m lucky enough to own my own home. I’m also child-free, which gives me plenty of time to explore hobbies and activities. My shiny black cat, Honey, is my little buddy and constant companion. In my free time, I love gaming (some of my favorites include World of Warcraft, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty), watching movies or Netflix shows, and heading out to enjoy late-night movies. I also like outdoor activities like fishing and hiking, and I have a passion for plants. I’m not much of a drinker, but I’m 420-friendly with occasional use (not daily). At this point in my life, I’m happy with who I am, but I feel like I’m missing my person – someone to share my life with.
Why I’m Here
I’m looking for a genuine, long-term connection with someone local or within Texas. Long-distance relationships aren’t for me, as I value the ability to spend quality time together in person. I’m serious about finding my future wife and building a strong relationship based on friendship, trust, and love. I enjoy good communication, and for me, voice calls are a must. While texting is fine, I need long phone conversations to feel truly connected and get to know someone better. If you’re open to it, I’d also like to exchange pictures so we can verify ourselves early on.
What I’m Looking For
I’m drawn to someone who is honest, affectionate, and caring – someone who values being my best friend as much as my significant other. I’m more attracted to personality than physical appearance, and I’d love to find a woman who is a little nerdy and enjoys dark humor. Ideally, she would also be a great listener and have a caring, thoughtful nature. I value open and meaningful communication, so if we hit it off, I’d hope to hear from you regularly. Morning, evening, or midday check-ins would be great if schedules allow, and I’d love someone who enjoys spending time together both virtually and in person. Physically, I don’t have a strict type, but I prefer someone who is down-to-earth, enjoys staying active, and is comfortable in their own skin.

2024.11.29 23:50 limealmond24 my girl got caught in a flood
The last time I spoke to her was two days ago and she has not responded again. I learned that during natural disasters, electricity is shut off to prevent further danger, but I still can't help but worry about her. I've asked her friends and they all say she hasn't responded either.
The last time we talked, she said her battery was running out but I didn't know it would take so long to get electricity back on. Ldr sucks. I really hope she is doing just fine now.

disclaimer: i understand dogs bark but this is pointless, loud, non stop barking and i can see from my window that it is just standing there barking at nothing
In may this year, my next door neighbours got a dog and since that day, it stands outside barking at nothing. Over the past 2 months it’s gotten especially bad at night and is causing major disruptions to me and my family’s lives (and all my other neighbours too). I have tried to block it out like loop noise cancelling earphones, ear deafener headphones, my airpods on full volume etc. but when i’m trying to sleep, revise for my a levels, do online interviews it’s too much for me to handle and it’s very distressing.
We started with a letter through their post box asking them to address the problem and nothing changed. One random night in August, i knocked on their door at 11pm to ask if they could take it inside since my family and i are struggling to sleep and they weren’t very responsive about it and said “Ok whatever”. My mum went and knocked at 10pm on a friday a couple weeks ago, to ask the same thing and they were more receptive and said something along the lines of “I know i don’t know why she keeps barking ha ha” and that was the end of that and since then it’s gotten worse. We have looked at our local councils complaints section about this but so far we have reported and nothing has happened
It happens often from the hours of 6am to 9am and 6pm to 12pm. I’m completely lost on what to do now but it is basically ruining my life
To clarify, this is a large dog and its bark is as loud as a human scream, it’s a not a little ruff ruff it’s basically a loud cry
