My (25F) husband (26M) and I got married just before I moved to Europe for a year. We've been together almost five years and married for one in December. It's been almost four months now and I feel our biggest struggle is communication. We've had some major ups and downs in our relationship over the years but we've strived to moved forward on a solid and healthy foundation. He's recently lost his job and his life back home is drastically different from what mine has become upon pursuing this work opportunity. He's not okay, job hunting is hard back home and the next steps for him are difficult, all things I understand because just before I moved I was jobless and didn't have a place to stay for a while.
He told me recently that he doesn't want a gift for our first wedding anniversary because he isn't able to think about things involving money right now, which I get. But I can't help feeling really hurt by this. This is our first wedding anniversary, after everything we've been through I would have really loved if we could both be willing participants on this one. A similar thing happened on our first anniversary as boyfriend and girlfriend and it was also mostly due to finances. My husband is great, he's a great friend and a great partner but not wanting to or preferring not commemorate our firsts hasn't been nice. What I'm hearing from this instance is that everytime something terrible happens (and they will always happen because life is like that) then I should expect a half done celebration of our relationship.
I feel like maybe I'm missing something, maybe I'm being selfish and not seeing the whole picture. I don't know if I should bring it up because I've been on his case about communication in general and adding another grievance to his plate especially during this time would be insensitive of me but if he doesn't want to commemorate this coming day with me, especially since we're long distance, I might grow resentful.

As the title says , the mk3 keyboards had a navigation button that made it easy for running through sounds and presets etc , it looked like this [...]. I just received my new launchkey 61 mk4 and I don't see that button on my keyboard, I am hoping there is a setting or something to access the navigation mode where I can use the pads to go up or down on sounds.....if not , why would they leave something so essential out of a so called upgrade? Hoping someone tells me it's still here , just in a different form or something.

If The Path served as a way for a Jedi to forget their past (e.g. turning in their lightsabers, the ultimate symbol of the order) and thus blend into society as an ordinary citizen, why would the Empire care about it?
Sure, destroy Master Junda and Cordova’s archival work. That’s reasonable, you want to emphasize the Jedi being forgotten. As it stood, though, the organization didn’t really have the means nor the intention to fight back against the Empire. They were basically a charity organization. Nobody outside of a Yoda, Kenobi, and Bail knew about the twins and what they meant. So why destroy The Path?
On the contrary, I think destroying it would yield two things. A: you would martyr the core surviving members and really set them on a warpath. First, their order. Second, their best attempt at salvation. What else do they have besides either ‘revenge’ as an option? Trying to restart the order? B: Jedi that would’ve joined the group to try and hide would themselves find another means of hiding (since leaving behind everything net once stood for suggests they’ve already made their mind up anyway) or instead would (I don’t see this anywhere as likely) realize that they cannot hide and try to stand for something and act as a hero (for what it’s worth, Endless Vigil provides a great example of what I mean).

I think when I was a kid I tried to give her waves with pipe cleaners and a boil wash?? And it permanently frazzled her hair like this instead and I could never get it back to the way it was. I have plans to re-root entirely if it comes down to it, but is there any way I can try and redo her hair like the og first? Tomorrow I’m about to wrap up Season 1. This has been such a wonderful and comfortable show. I noticed that there actually is a Season 2 but have heard that it doesn’t really add to what Season 1 was so I don’t think I’ll tune into it unless it does continue to grow and add onto the series. I see the movie is titled as prequel and it could even be the end of the series for me.

My issue with is that when pedaling I sometimes feel a slight vibration from the motor, which happens mostly when using it on PAS 0. It's not constant and usually goes away after catching some speed. I lost my 14 year old girl about 7 weeks ago, I miss her so so much and life without her has honestly been extremely miserable, I find it difficult to sleep and every day feels like a chore. I’ve decided to welcome a new puppy and will go and see a litter tomorrow, my girl was a beautiful black lab and the pup I will go and see tomorrow is yellow, the thought of not having a black dog is so strange and I don’t know why but every black lab I see I feel I’m looking for her in it so I know a yellow will be a little easier on me as it will look so different and we can start a fresh together without any subconscious comparison. I know it’s really quick to get another dog and that’s why I feel so guilty, I don’t want to replace her and that’s not why I’m getting another puppy, I just miss everything a dog brings, she was such a joy and now the home is empty and quiet and lonely but I just am scared that she would be upset or disappointed in me for getting another dog, she loved all animals and people she was friends with my house rabbit who passed away exactly 1 week after she did and the double loss has really hit me hard. Did anyone else choose to bring in another puppy soon after losing a much loved dog? Did you feel any guilt? If so how did you deal with it? Did you opt for a dog that looks different to your lost dog to make the transition easier?
