2024.11.30 00:50 Alternative-Fee-3550 AIO for being upset at my husband for meeting up with my old college friend in the middle of the night ?

Last night was Thanksgiving and like most couples figuring out where to spend it is an interesting task in itself so I tried to reason with my husband to spend it with my family. The reason being that every holiday season that comes around is at his family's side. (I've brought it up and are working through it.) With that in mind I thought it would be a simple conversation, but instead he chose to still go with his family. We agreed it would only be for a little bit, AND on the condition he wouldn’t be drinking since he had to drive himself home but here's where the situation takes a bad turn. During thanksgiving it was my turn to host it since I was absent in my family’s holidays in the past, so out of respect for my guest and the fact I was running around making food I couldn't reply. My husband without text decides to call up a "friend" and we have findmyiphone setup on each others phone so I find out without mention. I was able to confirm his because of Instagram stories with his family and the times matching. However during this happening concurrently… Thanksgiving is full on happening at my house at this point,.. everyone's eating so I couldn't just stop and figure out my course of action so l put my phone down and try to make the best of the night. I had some drinks and while spending time with my family / catching up I end up falling asleep. It's about 3am when my husband then proceeds to show up ... I’m half asleep so I assume it’s just one of my dogs coming into my house to snuggle and think nothing of it. At 5 I wake up and realize he never came home. I check his location and then full blown start spam calling him. Out of all the calls he doesn’t pick up a single one and they go to voicemail. He begins driving back home based on his location that is a old parking lot. When he shows up he’s visibly intoxicated. He then goes on to ask why i'm up. We had a heated choice of words when i finally start asking him how his night went. Come to find out he said the only reason the night played out the way it did was because "he didn't feel welcomed" and that i "didn't reply to him." Here's where my dilemma unfolds because he explains that he was drunk and upset and decided to confront my old friend because he felt like something happened ( i don't know if i can elaborate on the subject be of guidelines so..) towards him and he needed to get to the bottom of it. Me and this person do not get along and during college my husband and my ex friend were acquainted . She also liked him during that, and my husband is aware. I ended up letting him sleep so we could actually have a good conversation in the morning. I woke up and decided to ask my sister on advice. They are on my side and things were awkward.. also come to find out my old friend is seeing my other sister..... all people. Once he told both of us what happened there was some arguing. He also swore up and down he didn't cheat. Things didn’t loosen up and to relieve some tension i drove him to his family’s house. In all honesty I believe him but i don't want him to be under the impression that's it's not a big deal. Also given what he told me I could understand, but the principle of how the events took place have me questioning if im overreacting. On one side I want to support him because what happened is unfortunate but at the same time my family is pressuring me into being upset.

I have reaches the mountains. I entered a cave that seemed to call my name, and followed it. After a long while of navigatiing the winding cave, I stumbled upon a chamber of sorts. Elegantly carved walls that seem to tell a story, one which I do not know. At the front of a room, is a pedestal.
The pedestal emitts a light, almost blinding. But something is beconing me closer. I walk forward, blade in hand, and squint through the light, to see a staff. It is beautifullly shaped and winding, with words in the side.
This is it. The primordial staff the great one whisperered to me of. On its side is carved words: This Is the Staff of Mastif, Use It To Bring Balance.
And so I will.

I’m currently reading Allegiances and it mentions how the crystal in Mara’s lightsaber was grown from a part of a different purple crystal. Is that supposed to mean hers was grown from Mace’s? I haven’t read many books from this era of the EU, so I don’t know if it was ever mentioned in a different book as to what happened to Mace’s lightsaber.

These days the archetype for the GOP "base" is someone who enjoys the Joe Rogan podcast, and doesn't trust "experts", that is when it comes to judging the value of someone like Edward Witten they have been informed by the likes of Eric Weinstein...
It is not hard to imagine a scenario where some unqualified hack appointee(s) informed by anti-intellectual ideology recks havoc upon institutions here in the states (look at the NIH for example). The general trend of a society beginning to devalue such pursuits isn't unprecedented in history and it doesn't usually end well...

I'm looking to graduate from my iPhone 15 Pro to a better setup to take photos when I travel. I've narrowed my options to:

I will be taking pictures of outdoor scenes in cities, landscapes of outdoors, my wife, touristy sights, food pics indoors, museums (roughly in that order).
I travel light, typically with one backpack (26 -28 liters) and a small sling, so I have to prioritize lightweight and low space footprint.
I am leaning towards the big jump to the A7CR, and would love to keep one lens on for the ability to pull the camera out of a 2.5 ish liter sling and take a photo and then lens with higher magnification to capture some details closer up and those that are further away. My current thinking on A7CR lenses is:
