Tldr: Got a 4790k, 1080 (such a good card), 1000w, 32GB DDR3 (don't laugh).
Thinking of a 4070 super or maybe ti.
Right now, it runs things pretty smooth for the age but I've notice a few games these days i gotta turn the sliders down š
Thoughts? Build up from scratch again or slap a turbo on my high mileage LS1?

I know the devs have actual jobs outside all this. But from what I remember, the code of the game was pretty much intact, just needed a few updates here and there to make it compatible with new IPhones. So like, what the sigma? Whenās the game coming out lol. Like even if the devs worked an hour a week on the code it should have realistically been done by now lol

I'm autistic. I find it a real trouble to communicate or spontaneously make conversation. I'm not too scared to start conversations because I'm scared of what people will think, I am too scares to start them because I don't know what to say. And everyone in my year already has their circles and integrated with one another. I've tried really hard to make some sort of group but I've always been shut out. I've had things spoken about me behind my back, I've been insulted, I've been made fun of and ridiculed to my face, and I genuinely don't know what's wrong with me or what I have left to fix.
I've tried my absolute hardest to be an open and hearing person, I've tried very hard to be kind, supportive but also not too over the top kind (because that comes off as creepy apparently?) but mostly just normal. I had some level of friends the year before, but I would never get invited to shit, or things constantly spoken behind my back. Rest assured we don't really speak much anymore. I don't think I'm boring, I like aviation, I like coding and DIY/3D Printing, I like Mathematics. I like video games, like GTA/Red Dead or something. I don't know what clubs or etc exist near me for people who are like-minded. I feel out of options to be honest.

Iāve been talking to this girl for 3 months, things were fine in the beginning but about 2 weeks ago things felt different. She wanted to wait a month before meeting in person, weāve gone on 3 dates and Iāve spent the night at her apartment twice. When we both started talking we both agreed we were looking for a serious relationship so I thought we were on the same page on that.
Sheās a very shy and quiet girl and so am I however I lead the conversations. Itās very difficult to have a conversation with someone that hardly says more than a sentence when I ask her questions and rarely asks me anything back. To be clear weāve never had sex, we havenāt even kissed. Iāve tried to be pursue her in that way but she didnāt want to kiss on the lips rather only on the cheek. This makes me question what her intentions are and why she is hesitant.
For the past week Iāve been trying to get in contact with her so we can talk about this, of course this is a conversation Iād prefer to have in person but I would do it it over the phone as well. Last week I asked if she wanted to get dinner and she never replied, a few days later I had texted her if she could give me call back after she didnāt answer because I had something Iād like to discuss. She simply sent me a āwhatās upā text. I didnāt respond to that because I donāt want to discuss my concerns over text so we can have a proper conversations like adults so I can understand her perspective.
I texted her on Tuesday asking if everything was good between us and if we can find a time to catch up. I never got a reply but I know she say it since the text said she read it. Itās now Friday evening and we havenāt spoken at all. My thinking is to wait until Monday incase she reaches and if not I reach out one final time just explaining how I feel. I know some people would I advise to just say nothing and move on, however for me I feel like itās important for her to understand my perspective. I know this will either lead her saying nothing which I can accept or it could potentially lead to us connecting again once she understands how I feel.
My question is would you advise me to wait until Monday or should I do sooner? Would it be best to say both fin at all and let her come to me if sheās still interested? I Gusās for me to be able to move I just need her to know my intentions and perspective so I can either have closure to this or if thereās something still there.
In my text I would basically tell her that Iāve enjoyed our time together however the inconsistent texting wonāt work for me and if itās going work out between us we will have to adjust communication. I will also explain that I feel like she has been a little distant and hesitant, Iāll ask is there anything that happened that caused. Iāll end the text with saying the mixed signals confuse since Iām the beginning I thought things were fine but sometimes I have a hard time understanding what youāre comfortable.
I would appreciate any advice and what I should do in this situation going forward.

I've had this PC for a year and a half, with an upgraded cooling system since January of this year. I recently noticed a buzzing noise last week in my pc, but brushed it off because I just assumed the fans were working overtime after downloading OP6. After some days went by and the noise would be continual even when I would be idle on my desktop screen, I started to get a little concerned. I don't think this noise is normal.
It was perfectly fine up until a week or two ago. I will say, I did slightly move my PC about two weeks ago as well.
Any thoughts/ Advice?

Iād been doing drugs most weekend for about a year or so just mdma and sometimes a bit of ketamine. One night it hit me differently it was a mix of both plus alcohol not sure if it was a K-hole but my entire vision went static and it felt like time was going really fast (maybe it was vertigo making me think that) anyone I felt a bit weird few a couple days after then felt back to normal again.
Did the same thing the next weekend and felt fine afterward.
A couple weeks later I smoked a joint (which I never do) and had a full on hallucination which I thought was really cool lol.
I did start noticing while I was on drugs/the next day though that Iād see visual snow kind of things and just put it down to side effects of drugs it always went away the day after.
Couple years later I was then drinking pretty heavily and got super bad anxiety the next day felt super weird and vertigo. Always went away the next day though.
Then I had my second child and 5 weeks later I have it non stop. The docs all say vestibular migraine as all the symptoms match (Iāve never had head paid though) but after reading all these I canāt help but think it was HPPD all along mildly, flared by substance abuse and now itās full flared after having a kid?
It was Jan 2017 I had the weird experience and Oct 22 after having my second baby.
So far none of the migraine meds have worked and Iāve been stuck like this for over 2 years. The docs say itās hormone shifts and lack of sleep and stress ect but do ya think I got HPPD?
Is HPPD just symptoms of extreme anxiety? My psychiatrist said I have extreme psychological distress but the symptoms is whatās caused me the stress lol

Many of you may be waiting on telephone confirmation that your passport, withheld by Passport Canada due to the postal strike, has been transferred to a Passport Canada location for pick-up. I wanted to share my experience on what to do when this transfer fails and the phone call never arrives. My printed passport was withheld November 8th, along with tens of thousands of other passports. I had noted on my application that I would be travelling November 30th.
Ten days prior to departure, I contacted Passport Canada by phone and requested that my passport be transferred to a Passport Canada office in the Montreal area. I was told that I would receive a phone call once that transfer has been completed and my passport is ready to pick-up. Five days prior to my flight, I had still not received the phone call, so I called them back. The agent saw nothing in my file indicating that a transfer had been requested, so I repeated all my information and she took note. Three days prior to my flight, I still did not receive a call. So, I went to the Passport Canada office in person and stood in the passport pick-up queue. The clerk behind the desk said that a transfer could only be initiated if I showed proof of my travel plans. Nobody on the phone had requested that in either of the two calls. She responded that Passport Canada telephone attendants don't know what they're talking about. She also said that the system indicated I would be travelling December 7th -- one week later than my actual date. I showed her proof, she corrected the date on file, and she initiated a transfer request.
I received no phone call less than 48 hours before my flight. As such, 24 hours prior to flying out, I returned to the Passport Canada office. They agreed to print my passport on the spot and told me to return to the office between noon and 4 pm. I returned at noon and was told that I needed to get a new photo produced. Nobody had mentioned that to me in the morning. So, I found a store that took passport photos in the neighbourhood, rushed back and my passport was printed minutes before closing time -- barely 14 hours before my flight was set to depart.
If you've asked for a transfer, be persistent. Don't just wait for that elusive phone call. Assume that directives change and the person on the phone or the person at the desk is not giving you complete, clear and correct information. If you're told that the transfer is logged in the system, it may not have been. Be your best advocate and be politely persistent.
