You are so admirable/ Your strength/ Your passion/ Your lively nature/ It’s no wonder why so many hold you in their hearts.
Before my love had always been open and free to the others that crossed my path But that freedom left me with nothing/ So I took a vow of stoicism For my sake and yours/ But I have wept nights on end not because you were not beside me but because you didn’t know my heart.
Your lack of fear inspires me to be a better man not just for my self but for you/ Your laughter evaporates my tears/ You are beautiful beyond belief/ The time I have spent with you has been magnificent and i don’t want it to end/ But if I am to be fearless like you I cannot continue to lie to us.
Love lacks a definition suitable for my feelings/ My soul mourns when we are apart/ I shake in wonderfully terrible excitement when I know I will see you soon/ I wish to never leave your side for the moment you need or want me I will be there waiting.
You point out your flaws as if I don’t see them/ I do and they are beautiful for they are you/ I would sooner burn the louvre before I asked you to change yourself/ You are the most breathtakingly beautiful painting come to life/ I know God spent many long nights perfecting your face/ And even longer getting the pitch of your voice just right/ When you sing I half expect forest animals to gather near.
So if a day comes where you can’t find your strength/ I would be honored to carry you/ If someone douses your passion/ I would kill to stoke your fire/ And if you lose your liveliness/ I would love to bring you levity.

I ordered the ultimate, but not sure if I should have ordered the backpack diaper bag instead. It’s a bit smaller, and doesn’t have a change station, but I feel like I don’t really need that feature with a toddler. And it’s a bit prettier than the ultimate. Anyone try both?

2024.11.30 00:36 AnythingPeachy Removal due to misplacement

I'd like to know if anybody here has ever had to have their implant taken out due to it being put in wrong?
I'm on my 5th one I think and every other one has stopped hurting after a few days and I've had to root around on my arm to just about feel it. This one is still stabbing a couple of weeks later and I can feel the whole thing perfectly from just lightly grazing my skin. Just worried that it's going to hurt like this for the whole 3 years or maybe won't be effective if it's too close to skin level.

2024.11.30 00:36 HaphazardHufflepuff Feeling really overwhelmed introducing cats and worried I've made a mistake

I have a 3 yo DSH called Ravioli who was showing signs of being a bit lonely, and he'd previously lived in a house with other cats who he got on well with, so 4 weeks ago myself and my partner got a kitten to keep him company. Cannoli is now 16 weeks old and is another little boy.
Introducing them is so far going relatively poorly. We're doing everything very slowly and have only let them have supervised 10 minute slots together at a time, but it usually becomes aggressive towards the end of that time and I have to "call it" and end the introduction. I've back-pedalled a few times and slowed the introduction down, but the issue seems to be in Cannoli's behaviour. Ravioli completely leaves him alone until the point that Cannoli instigates something but Cannoli swats at Ravioli often and then Ravioli seems to "rear up" a little and it becomes chasing until Cannoli is cornered somewhere quite quickly. I'm quite an anxious person and I have been very nervous about Cannoli getting hurt in these situations.
A few bits of context: - Cannoli is currently not neutered, we're waiting for him to put on a little more weight before he's big enough, but I do wonder if this might be making him want to fight with Rav? - The big struggle is that keeping them separate means that myself and my fiancé are having to sleep separately, because neither cat is used to sleeping alone and became very unsettled when they had to sleep alone. - When the chasing occurs, Ravioli ends up cornering Cannoli and gives signs of proper aggression i.e. airplane ears, using his claws etc. - We have a mesh screen door for introductions, and Cannoli tends to kind of throw himself at Rav through it - Cannoli is showing signs of being frustrated in the room he's separated in, we do as much swapping of the cats around the house as we can, but Cannoli is often scratching at the door to get out and crying when he has to be closed back in there. - They're both indoor cats, and we've made sure there's no competition for resources, there's at least 2 of absolutely everything they might need.
I'm starting to really struggle with all of this, and worrying that an introduction isn't going to be possible. I know that patience and taking it slowly is important, but with Cannoli seeming so frustrated with the separation, I'm not sure what's right anymore. Does anyone have any advice for particularly difficult introductions? Maybe any advice for how I can encourage Cannoli to leave Rav alone?

Hello! Let me preface this by saying I have 0 relationship experience, but I realize I'm not into any quick flings or anything like that, so I'm just kind of looking for a genuine connection. Haven't had much luck on dating apps or with real life interactions so thought I'd give this a try.
Some things about me, one of my favorite hobbies is combat sports, (Kyokushin karate and kickboxing in my case) I train at least 2-3 times a week and I would do it more often if I could. It would be awesome if you're either interested in combat sports or open to learning it, but that's definitely not a must. I'm also a film student and I love video editing, I'm hoping to turn that into my career! I watch some anime and play games, you know kinda the usual stuff. Now for looks, I have dark blonde, slightly curly hair, blue eyes and I wear glasses. I'm 180cm tall and I'd say I'm pretty fit due to my training but a small bit on the skinnier side, expect more so a fighters physique rather than a weight lifting physique.
What I look for in someone is at least someone that's into doing some kind of sport or staying active. Age range from 18 to around 22-23, preferably not taller than me but honestly even if you're also 180cm I don't think I would mind that much. Someone who's not afraid to act weird or share weird facts about each other and overall someone who's looking for a genuine connection. Being nerdy is all good, maybe even better! Preferably someone close to south-holland, but there's definitely wiggle room in that regard.

I recently purchased two new Levi's and 511s in their high stretch fabric style. After washing, I feel as if they are "bunching up" in my upper calf / behind my knee while sitting down and compressing my leg. None of my other pants including older 511s have had this sensation.
Do you think a tailor would be able to resolve this / what would be the best way to describe it to them?

Boa noite, gostaria de desabafar algo que guardo dentro de mim, e dói as vezes...
Namorei uma pessoa que tinha câncer, a pessoa estava bem quando iniciamos o namoro, não havia previsão de uma melhora, mas alguns exames mostravam uma certa "melhora". Eu amava muito, mas 8 meses antes da sua morte, eu senti algo diferente.
Eu tenho o azar de prever o falecimento de algumas pessoas... Como do Sílvio Santos, não que seja importante essa informação, mas ele sabia dessas previsões ruins, e eu vi ele em sonho em um caixão, doeu muito na hora e falei com ele, avisei que isso poderia ser um mau presságio... Ele acreditou em mim e apenas sorriu dizendo que já estava pronto para isso, mas não esperava que seria tão cedo, e disse que assim era bom que ele se preparava... (Não consigo dar datas, mas sabíamos que iria acontecer)
Infelizmente acabamos terminando no natal daquele ano, mesmo ainda amando ele, e querendo o bem dele, resolvemos que seria melhor terminar. Ainda nos comunicando muito, e sempre nos encontrando, eu tive novamente a visão dele, dessa vez, eu me despedindo e sentindo a pele dele fria e sem vida...
Então eu não queria dar mais desgosto e apenas comecei a trata-lo com mais carinho... Ele notou, e me perguntou: "Está chegando a hora, né?", eu chorei e concordei... Não podia mentir para ele... Ele me abraçou e disse que estava tudo bem. Mas ele ficou alguns dias (Menos de uma semana), me tratando com descaso, parecia que queria me afastar. E um dia, eu liguei para ele, disse que não queria a gente assim, e ele concordou comigo, passamos algumas horas conversando, e ele me disse que queria me ver no outro dia, eu chorei e disse que não daria tempo de ver ele... Ele apenas entendeu, a gente se despediu...
No outro dia, conversamos algumas horas pela manhã, e eu mandei o último "Eu te amo", que ele nunca leu...
Recebi a ligação de um amigo, informando que ele se foi, e meu mundo desabou, mesmo sabendo que iria acontecer...
Não importa o quão preparado você acha que está, a queda sempre é dolorosa e a despedida é pior ainda, amem como se não houvesse amanhã, pois pode não haver... E nem sempre conseguimos prever isso...
