Picked up a 2025 Model Y Long Range AWD today. Replaced my 2020 long range AWD with 63,000 miles and out of warranty. With 5 years of continuous tweaks the latest Y is a well refined vehicle. Got the third row and the Gemini wheels. Heated steering wheel was nice on a cold day. 20 inch wheels on the 2020 had plenty of curb rash. I won’t miss those. Got FSD Transfer , 3 months free supercharger, and 60 month 0% financing. I’ll invest my cash at 5%! The new ultra red color is really nice. The 2020 Y went to Carvana for 24k, quite a bit more than Tesla offered. My only complaint is I’ll have to buy acceleration boost again. Perhaps in a few years I’ll look at the seasoned Juniper Model Y.

Its been a while since I posted last. a few years in fact. The farm is doing well. We've expanded and even managed to pay off our original Loan!
1988 was a productive year, we made a record amount of silage. it was the first time the Class Forage harvester was used to make Whole crop silage from Corn.
We also got a demo combine from John deere just in time for our main corn harvest in october. a brand new for the 1989 model year 9600. We were impressed for sure so I was thinking we should get ourselves one.
1989 rolled around and we made some excellent money and made our loan payment. With one left for 1990. we bit the bullet and bought a lot of equipment. The sheds we'd built previously now are filled.
A brand new Volvo truck, a new JD 4955 tractor, some Killbros Chaser Bins, a display model Zetor with really low hours and 2 JD 9600 combines with corn headers.
Finally in late 1989 we had some news. Our old neighbours kids had finally decided it was time to sell. They gave us first refusal so in January we sold our crops like every year, paid off the last loan payment and immediately took out a loan again. For 1 million dollars!
We bought all our neighbours land for 300k and picked up some other nearby land that was for sale. I order to deal with all that land we bought a JD 8960. Its replaced the Allis 8550 which we sold. Finally we picked up our 4th truck a Scania to complement our volvos.
All photos are from 1988 to January 1990.
Next job is clearing out some old sheds and trees. We have big field plans for the 1990s!

I am facing an issue with the RainbowBorders.sh script that I use to change the border colors in Hyprland, where the color effects are not persistent after reloading the settings or changing the background. Below are the details of the problem:

The Problem:
Manual Script Execution: When I run the script manually, it works perfectly, changing the border colors of the active window.
Effect Stops After Background Change or hyprctl reload:

When I change the background, the effect disappears, and the border color returns to the default.
After running hyprctl reload to reload the settings, the effect stops as well.

Is there a way to ensure that the RainbowBorders.sh effect stays active permanently, even after changing the background or reloading the settings?
Is there a way to make the script run automatically every time the session starts or after settings are changed?

2024.11.30 01:30 Witch_King_ Used vs new AVR as a beginner on a budget

Hi! I'm just starting to learn a bit about home theater setups and looking at different options for purchase. Want to get off of those built-in TV speakers :)
My goal is to do a 2.1 or 3.1 setup; I have no desire or space for 5.1
Anyway, I've been looking at a lot of used stuff online. Where should I be concentrating/balancing my budget? I've heard that the subwoofer and center channel (should I choose to do 3.1) are the most important things to ensure highest quality on. Is that true?
How much does the AVR matter? Is it worth it to pay a bit more for a modern one with good features that can act as a solid foundation for years going forward? I don't have a super solid budget (best bang for my buck coming off of the integrated speakers is my overall goal I guess).
Does it make sense for me to get the Denon x1700h brand new from Costco for $300 right now? It seems very solid, has HDMI 2.1, etc. But I've also seen many many older AVRs for far less online that have too low of an HDMI standard or even NO HDMI (or no ARC) at all and would require use of optical input. Does paying that much for a new AVR make sense if I'm not going to be getting brand new high-quality speakers to pair with it?
What's the play here? Any other general suggestions are very welcomed.

The wiki says that this book survived the burning of the library of ohara. This could mean that he was at ohara and survived, marked by flames. The Man marked by flames is supposed to have info on the 4th road poneglyph, which fits someone who would have been in ohara, as they studied the void century and deciphered poneglyphs, as well as knowing the name of the ancient kingdom. I think all boxes are checked. Thoughts?
Edit : he probably got off the Island with Saul. Could possibly be at elbaf.
