2024.11.30 01:40 Berkyjay Help with debugging a 10GbE adapter card install issue.
I'm running a Truenas server on my Supermicro X12SCA-5F board. I built a small proxmox server so I can move my jails over to it and keep the Truenas server as storage only. So I purchased two Intel X710-DA2 cards to bridge them. But once I boot my storage server back up it seems to hang in the boot screen at DXE--AHCI Initialization.... I have updated the firmware on the board. I'm unsure of what other steps to take to debug this issue. I'm hoping someone could help me resolve this.
There's not much to go on here, but this is what I see on the BMC during boot.

Life has been a bit crazy recently so I thought I'd come online to try and find a potential friend who I can hang with every now and again..
I will say though, I am pretty high energy & no filter and I'm not too serious so if you're not okay with that -- probably best to stay away!
My interests are: Music, Dance/Fitness, Skincare/Fashion, Video Games (currently thinking about doing a Minecraft for full escapism), Language Learning, Cooking/Baking, Coffee/Drinks!
I do have other hobbies but I'd say the above are probably all my main ones :) Also!-- I am from the UK but my sleep schedule can be pretty scuffed sometimes so I'm happy to chat to people from anywhere in the world :)

2024.11.30 01:40 rubenhak Is Z-Wave ok? Or ZigBee? Or even Matter/Thread?
I'm honestly lost. Need to make a decision. Setting up a new home. Already selected HomaAssistant as the brain. Now need to decide on the protocol. How does one choose between Z-Wave, ZigBee or MatteThread? One option I was considering Inovelli MatteThread and Shelly Wifi. Another is was Shelly Z-Wave relays and Inovelli Z-Wave light switches. With the second I would avoid using so many wifi Shelly devices.
Any issues with Z-Wave compared with ZigBee or MatteThread?
For Z-Wave which controller would you suggest? https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/z-wave/controllers/
For me it is important to have stable signal.
Will be setting up Wifi 7 with Ubiquiti at home.

2024.11.30 01:40 QueenSunnyTea I started drinking more water starting around September and my urine became much darker than before.
I'm 29F, 6'2" 240 lbs, white woman and under pressure from my girlfriend I started drinking water every day starting around mid September. I've noticed that in the past month my urine changed color significantly and it fluctuates a little from greenish to an orange -brown color throughout the day and I'm not experiencing any discomfort. The new volume of water is 1, 6-cup Brita pitcher a day and I drink it all every night before I go to bed and the tap I put in the pitcher is from Austin Tx, in case that's relevant. That's the only lifestyle change I 've had in the past 6 months other than walking to work every day and I can't think of what else I need to do if I'm dehydrated. I pee around 5-7 times a day and the color does shift throughout the they day, darker orange in the morning and by the time I go to bed its a kinda cloudy green tea color. (I don't drink green tea of any kind.)
I don't drink alcohol unless its an occasion, never smoked cigarettes but I do smoke MJ or take edibles infrequently. My gf says I should drink more water, but the pitcher is so much it can be hard to get it all down when I drink it and its pretty uncomfortable to fall asleep with so I'm not sure what else to do.
