2024.11.30 02:29 soulztek Am I Early Extending
Made some changes with my backswing and overall some fundamental theoretical changes. I had a lot more side bend before and trying to simplify my swing.
For the most part I'm happy with the results of the ball trajectory, mostly straight or a slight cut (i can leave the face open when I'm overswinging). But I'm not sure if I'm early extending. Is there anything else, I'm not seeing or should address in the off-season?

PART 2
- We left off in the Goblin Camp, having KOd beautiful Minthara. Now it was time for the others.
- Halsin was incredibly happy we killed the Goblin leaders. We decided not to inform him there is no more grove.
- Afterwards, we spent a fortnight trying to find Shadowheart's corpse - it was nowhere to be found. Did she see the grove massacre unfold and just fuck off to the Shadowlands?
- On the note of the Grove ... it is now covered in a somewhat foreboding poison cloud. What even?! We braved the poison cloud to loot a sweet glaive that was completely useless to us.
- After Ulluz, Zephyra and Astarion had an opportunity to talk to Scratch and all left mid-conversation Wyll finally invited him to camp.
- Zephyra was approached by his companion who was a little peckish and burned almost all his inspiration points on not staking said companion
- We were excited to finally recruit Karlach who promptly told us we were monsters.
- We met a very nice lady who we saved from some terribly uncouth men. Later, she offered to pick an eye out of us, but we all declined, except Wyll, who she refused.
- Ulluz did his best to gather information
- Ulluz got told he was rude by a gypsy man
- The owl bear cub approached Zephyra in camp who rolled to attack it.
- An argument ensued because Zephyra "the Dark Urge" wanted to save his remaining 1 inspiration point in order to not to kill a certain companion in Act 2. The rules were amended so that Ulluz could offer up his own inspiration points in such situations and the Owl Bear cub was saved from certain death.
- Ulluz walked in on a bugbear fucking an ogre and Wyll told him to stand down because he didn't want to be invited to their wedding. We do not know the customs of neither bugbears nor ogres but we suspect weddings are not involved. Ulluz opened the door anyway.
- Zephyra found a really cool dagger for his paramore (who hates him) and promptly broke it
- The Owl Bear Cub approached us in camp with a hurt paw and Zephyra inspected its paw with his medicinal skills, understanding nothing, and told it to leave (maybe we're not the best people to hang around anyway)
- We rescued a lady from a burning building and told her we had more important shit to worry about than helping her.
- We decided to go to the bridge before the Mountain Pass because Ulluz doesn't have a crush on the elusive Lae'zel at all. The tiefling hanging out there promptly attacked us no questions asked (!) and the gith weren't much better - we had the reload party of our lives trying to take them out. During one of these, we suddenly heard Lae'zels sweet voice - she was talking to a bush about the Creche! Our motivations kindled, we decimated the gith.
- After a few rounds of failed conversation, Lae'zel turned her eyes to Ulluz, the magnificent, and decided to join us.
- Astarion chastized Zephyra for being into gnawing on people.
- Taking Karlach's head ended up being Zephyra's honor. We had a quest, after all. Wyll had some doubts, but it was thankfully resolved after a heart to heart with Ulluz because Ulluz decided to just leave mid discussion.
- We took her head to the Paladin of Tyr, told him he was an idiot for going after Karlach, because she's nice, and killed him too.
- Wyll got a sweet robe. Ulluz took it.
- The amount of opportunities you have to leave mid-conversation in this game is mindboggling.
- The sheer number of times you get the option to stake Astarion in the bite scene are insane

Hey all, I don’t know if I am the only one or not, but as the title suggests I’ve been getting system wide stutters and freezes. Starting about a week ago this began to happen while playing Elden ring, but it’s not isolated to one game.
My hardware is a ryzen 5800x, rtx 4070 super, 32gb @3200 mhz on 2th nvme ssd
I first checked online and saw a lot of people suggesting on the fedora subreddit that nvidia driver 565.xxx was causing a lot of headaches.
I tried downgrading to 560.xxx and 550.xxx and I’m still getting stutters and freezes.
I do have a dual monitor setup at different refresh rates, one at 144hz and one at 72hz, however that has never been an issue before. I’m not saying that isn’t the cause because you never know. But one display will freeze, and about 10 seconds later the other will stutter than freeze. And it will take almost a solid minute to resume back to normal.
It almost seems that once one stutter occurs, more follow at different rates of occurrence.
Thanks for any help and I can try to fill in gaps, and I’m sure I left a bunch of missing details. I’ve only been using fedora 40 for a few months so I’m still a rookie

All programs except two that I’m applying to have a 1/12 deadline. I submitted way ahead, had asked for LORs three months before and sent reminder mails during the beginning of November with my finalised app materials for their reference as well. Only one prof has submitted (who also denied at the last minute for three unis that require additional surveys), one is still saying he’ll do it by tomorrow, and the last one (my research supervisor, the main LOR in my app) straight up said she’ll do it after the deadline yesterday. I’ve asked my employer to fill in last minute, to which she also agreed (bless her), but what even? I did everything I could on time for the applications and here goes that one little thing out of my control. I’m just lost, anxious, and frustrated.

I live in a small town in North Georgia. One of those good ole boy systems counties. Let me explain my situation a little then ask my question. I owe $6250 in arrears only. I paid was paying monthly $600 for my 2 kids until covid hit. And the job I had started letting the newer hired employees go. Unfortunately I was one of those ppl. I was able to draw unemployment which paid a partial payment for awhile . And then I got sick like deathly sick and the payments stopped but I immediately filed for SSDI. Which has been a long process in itself. During my time of waiting for disability outcome. I’ve had my license suspended until arrears are paid in full. I’ve been incarcerated for 33 days for contempt of court. My Mom had to pay $1,000 purge before they would let me out. I finally had my hearing with a disability judge on Sept 19th. And was approving me partially like 3yrs backpay. To rule me fully favorable she needed she needed my most recent medical files. My lawyer said they sent she was saying she didn’t have them. Until she reviewed them she wouldn’t make a decision. So with the back payment I will hopefully be receiving soon. I will be able to pay my child support off and be done. Here is my question every month at the county courthouse they have a monthly hearing they try and threaten me with a bench warrant if I don’t show up. Apparently it’s for the parents in arrears that may of missed some payments. I was in the Emergency Room on 11/6 and had been there since like 3am. I emailed the child support recovery office and told them I wouldn’t be able to attend and where I was. They threatened me and said the child support judge said if I didn’t send in proof by 5pm that evening an arrest order would be issued. ARE THOSE MONTHLY HEARINGS MANDATORY? They do not send out a process server for me to sign anything. Nothing in the mail anymore they used to send a notice they quit doing that awhile back. The time is always 9am but it changes as far date monthly. It’ll be on the 3rd one month 15 the next. Always on a Wednesday never sworn in and it’s not on the record or being recorded. I don’t think I’m going back to tell them the same thing I told them in October. That I’m waiting on my hearing approval letter they’ll get their money before I get mine.
