I've had it with Best Buy. I purchased a new computer and was "sold" the $50 annual membership by the store representative who EXPLICITLY told me that Black Friday pricing would be included in the period for my price match guarantee. My item purchased dropped in price by $270 on Black Friday and I'm now being told my price match guarantee expired 4 days ago. What a scam.
I tried to escalate to customer service through their chat support, was put on hold FOUR times for times in excess of 30 minutes. Spent a total of over 5 hours trying to get the matter resolved, only to be told "Sorry, you should have read the terms and conditions." While that may be true, you also should TRAIN YOUR SALES PEOPLE to stop misinforming customers. When your people say something verbally in the store, I shouldn't be required to fact check them.
To add insult to injury, when I asked about getting refunded for the $50 membership thing they sold me with explicit intent to price match on Black Friday, they offered me a pro-rated $40 refund. Are you kidding?
I know my $1700 purchase isn't going to break Best Buy financially, but I assure you that's the last purchase I ever make at Best Buy unless they make things right.

I don’t know what to do My grandma and uncle died just last year as well but this is the most devastated and horrible I have ever felt she was a pit that we rescued (she was going to be euthanized for being “savage”) her name was Freckles and she was the sweetest most loving thing you’d ever meet one day I came to my dads house from my mom (they’re divorced) and she was so skinny I could see her ribs and she wouldn’t eat she kept throwing up nothing but clear goo that smelled horrible the day after that (today) she died. I I I woke up and my dad said he had bad news and said freckles didn’t make it I have cried till I’m empty and I don’t know what to do

I finished the initial application to the University of Alaska Anchorage PhD in Clinical-Community Psychology program about five days ago, but have yet to complete the secondary steps including personal statement, and one of my recommenders has yet to submit their letter (it's not due until January). I was therefore deeply baffled to receive an email telling me I've been accepted into the program. I double-checked my application to make sure I had selected the right program, and everything appears to be in order. It says I've been "accepted with warning". Did the university make a mistake somehow?

Growing up, my family always went all out decorating for Christmas. Very religiously based (my mom has anywhere from 6-15 nativity sets). I haven't decorated my home since embracing witchcraft. This year I chose to be intentional with my decor and honor my beliefs. I cut fresh pine branches and hung them up and it came out beautifully and I'm so proud!
Added bonus of being out of reach of the cat!
