hi guys! i (a non-filipino) have a lover who is filipino, specifically visayan. i've been interested in learning his language in order to speak to his mother in her mother's tongue as well as raise our children cultured. i'm in a bit of predicament on whether i should learn tagalog or bisaya first (his mother knows both). i figured it would be nice to learn bisaya since its closer to their region though i know that tagalog is more widespread n spoken with. i'm indonesian but come from a region named aceh so in my perspective i would really appreciate if someone learned indonesian n be more surprised if they learned acehnese. thoughts n opinions? if there are any free resouces to learn either languages please dropped them below. thank you in advance!

Hi all
My employer is of the view that work gets progressed and issues get resolved quicker in the office so we are all in the office 5 days a week. I also interviewed at two other accounting firms and they also said similar and that 5 days a week is expected.
I travel 1.5 hours each way to work in the CBD 5 days p/week and am wondering if it's worth having the conversation with my employer to at least allow 1 day a week WFH. My mates in other white-collar industries (finance etc WFH like 3-4 days a week).
Just wanted to know if 5 days a week is common now?
